Are the fruits and vegetables used in this formula organic? Where are the vitamin and mineral pre-mixes sourced from?

Answer by ChewySep 07, 2020
The fruit and vegetable in K9 Natural recipes are not organic but are sourced directly from the human supply chain in New Zealand. Any pesticides and/or fertilizers used in New Zealand must comply with New Zealand’s Ministry of Primary Industry’s Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) Act 1997 and Regulations. All wholefood ingredients are sourced in New Zealand, are of human-grade quality and can be traced from the farm gate, to your pet’s plate. To align with their Non-GMO and Non-Chinese sourcing stance, their essential vitamins and minerals - which account for a small proportion of the ingredients - are of New Zealand, United States, Canadian, Argentinian, Australian or European origin.

My dogs love it.

Freezes dried is healthier than other types of dog food and more convenient than fresh.

I love K9 Naturals but do not buy this from Chewy. Received today and it's almost powder like. Contacted customer service and was told that they have to received the returned product before they can ship the replacement out? My baby will be out of food. Try Amazon, they have better customer service. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

My dog does not like hard pebble like kibble, this freeze dried is much softer, more palatable. Also he has very troublesome IBD, one of a few products that doesn't irritate this. Unfortunately, this flavor (Hoki and Beef) and Kiwi Peak Tripe and Lamb (air dried flakes) are being discontinued. Will find substitutes in these brands (from New Zealand) both which I recommend for their quality.
