Ive been buying sojos since 2019. The past 3+ bags I’ve received, the zip-lock function has ripped which makes closing the bag a whole lot more annoying. I’ve been using a clip for now. Would love if someone could fix this since this is not a cheap purchase.

Not as pictured but my girl loves it

My fur baby Lily is the pickiest eater ever. She is not only picky but even when she finds a food she likes she tires of it quickly. I have found what works for her is variety so I have her on several different brands and am constantly surprising her with something new. I started feeding her just different flavors of the same brand because she had a very sensitive stomach. That did not help her tummy issues. Now that she is getting a ton of variety not only is she happier, but she has not had an upset stomach in months. I introduced variety to her about 7 months ago. I also have another dog, Charlie who is on prescription food because he has inflammatory bowel disease. He has to eat 3 times a day so I also feed Lily 3 times a day. Each of her meals is different. She starts her day with Nulo Freestyle freeze dried and I alternate between beef with apples and lamb with raspberries. She gets Honest Kitchen kibble at lunch and Sojo’s Complete freeze dried for dinner. I also supplement with green beans, coconut oil and other things. Finally, her stomach issues have resolved and she is very happy with her food. I do agree with some other reviews that the picture advertising this food is not an accurate reflection of the food. It doesn’t matter how long I soak it, it never looks like a bowl of fresh food like the advertising reflects. Sojo’s you are doing a disservice to yourself and probably losing customers by keeping this inaccurate image in your advertising. Bottom line is Sojo’s complete is an excellent food and my picky eater Lily loves it even though the food I give her looks nothing like the bowl of food you advertise. She’s been on this food for a while now and has never gotten tired of it or snubbed her nose at it. I’m rating the food itself, not the advertisement.

TIP prep and fridge overnight for easy great texture. I love this food! My overweight female dog lost weight on this food as recommended by vet and both my dogs have soft fur and are doing great and love it. At first I was concerned about texture and wait time after prep. TIP: I figured out to prep it and fridge overnight for perfect texture and easy service for dogs without wait. They love it cold. Great food and easy to serve. We love it.

My dog has a more sensitive stomache, and he's a bit picky. He LOVES this food. We switched from raw kibble to this food, hoping he'd like it more - and he now waits eagerly while I prep this for his breakfast/dinner. Pros: easy to store, can prep it ahead of time if needed, seems delicious even to me (it's like a dehydrated thanksgiving dinner lol) Cons: cost adds up (joonie's small, but I can imagine for larger breeds that you'd blow your way through this) He's been on Sojo's for about a month and half, and I'm still monitoring weight but I don't notice any issues. If anything, he seems more energetic. His stool is pretty solid, and his skin isn't as dry as before. He passed his one year vet check-up with flying colors.

I'm still cautious but this is the first commercial food we've given our dog that has not caused issues for him. Typically around week 8 of introducing a new diet, he would start developing blood in his stool and getting diarrhea... Therefore, our only solution was to home cook his meals for over a year. We had tried TONS of different diets for him, and this one seems to be the best. It's also perhaps the only food, aside from our home cooked meals, that he gets that excited for. Hoping that it lasts for him... So far, so good

We got this for our older dogs to help them eat while having dental and medical issues. We ordered the small bag to try and they loved it. Withing a week we ordered the large bag and suddenly the dogs wouldn't eat it. The food in the new bag looked a bit different and was definitely more powdery. Although the packaging looked almost identical, upon further investigation, the ingredients were definitely different between the two bags. After contacting Sojo's, they had just changed the formula. Unfortunately they changed to the one the dogs wouldn't eat! Chewy was great about it (their website does have the correct ingredient list) and we were able to return the large bag for a refund.

Due to 2 bouts of pancreatitis this summer, Maddie had to go on prescription food. After a couple of months she refused to eat it. Needed a food to add to her diet without causing her any problems. Solos came highly recommended by another dog owner. She is eating her prescription food with the Solos added as a topper.

We were amazed, as periodically I think we have tried everything, this is the first packaged dog food that she is now regularly eating and it totally agrees with her digestive system!

This is 1 of 2 brands I alternate for my mini Schnauzer. I mainly feed my boy cooked human-grade meat with vegetables and supplement with freeze-dried raw food. The breed is prone to pancreatitis, so I have to always check for lower fat levels -- and Sojos (and Bravo) fits the bill, plus they are comparatively reasonably priced. My boy especially loves this chicken recipe but also likes pork and beef.
