The hamster will not be able to turn the car on its own. With the wheel set at the lowest position, it can be used with the Super Pet’s Hamtrac.

The hamster loves it.

I know it’s plastic, but I sprayed some WD40 where it was squeaking, and it is 100% silent now. The hamster climbs in immediately when she sees it.

Not safe for hammys

This car only goes back and forth for movement. Hamster can not steer so they essentially run and hit the wall. Turn around run as far as they can and hit the wall

This car only goes back and forth for movement. Hamster can not steer so they essentially run and hit the wall. Turn around run as far as they can and hit the wall. Back and forth. To me that seems like a concussion waiting happen. As a stand alone wheel in the cage on the non moveing notch it's worse. If I lock him in and he can just run not move the car my little ham starts trying to chew out as he feels trapped. If in his cage with the entrance hole open he gets stuck getting out and actually rubbed all the fur off his nose pushing the ball to the right angle to get out. Not good for a wheel or a ball. Threw it into the trash instead of good will so no other hammy has to use it. Just get a wheel or a ball.

Please don't use these, I beg of you!

Exercise balls are an absolute joke. They cause so much stress on your animals. Your animals can get their limbs stuck in the "ventilation" holes and have them ripped

Exercise balls are an absolute joke. They cause so much stress on your animals. Your animals can get their limbs stuck in the "ventilation" holes and have them ripped off or broken. Please don't use these. If you are getting this for your hamster/mice/rats/etc, give them a non-mesh, non-wire wheel like the Wodent Wheel, Kaytee Silent Spinner or a Kaytee Comfort Wheel. Syrian hamsters & rats need a 10"-12" wheel and dwarf hamsters & mice need a 8"-10" wheel but can use larger wheels. Chinchillas need a 12"-15" wheel. Guinea pigs, rabbits & ferrets don't need wheels. Bottom line, please don't use exercise balls or mesh wheels, they can cause serious, long lasting damage to your beloved fur-babies.
