Feeding Instructions

For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location. It is best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. Replace weekly or more frequently if desired. Do not allow your bird to eat only spray millet. The majority of its diet should consist of 1 of Kaytee's nutritionally fortified diets. Store in a cool, dry location.

  • Disappointed!

    By on

I ordered a bag couple wks ago and it did not look nor smell right. It smelled like fish food?? Called Chewy and told them about it so they sent me another bag and it WASN'T fresh either. I put it out for the wild birds and crows and they haven't touched it. They should really monitor their food and keep up with the dates and how long it's been sitting on a shelf. I read other reviews that had same issue. When I ordered some back in Oct, you could smell the freshness of the wheat before I even opened the bag so I don't understand what's happening but hope they fix it because I like ordering from Chewy.

  • Weird bird love

    By on

My parakeet loves these and nibbles on them all day and then at night when I cover her cage she climbs up the millet sprays (I usually tie about 6 of them together when I give them to her) and she sleeps up there all night. When I take her cover off in the morning there she is at the top of her cage sitting on her millet.

  • Mullet in Demand!

    By on

My parakeets cannot get enough of their millet sprays! They focus on the millet feeders until there is nothing left but the stem. This is a nice sized package of millet, keeping it fresh until needed. I highly recommend this millet as a treat for your feathered friends!

  • Consistent, top-quality sprays

    By on

These are nice, big, tight sprays. They stay intact during shipping and there is almost no waste in the bottom of the bag. I have been using this brand with success for two years. This parakeet necessity has always been delivered to my door fresh and fast at a great price from Chewy.

  • It's pretty good!

    By on

I transitioned my two birds from seeds to pellets with Zupreme Natural with vitamins (over a span of 6 months or so) . It was highly recommended by other 'tiel owners and it smells really nice and nutty. They didn't really like it much so I mixed it with this kind (which smell like Trix cereal).

Two young birds love THIS millet. How do I know? Peck at the treet until gone, then peck at the bits that they cause to drop ! One a day keeps them "singing"!

  • Attracts Songbirds

    By on

You can attract an array of song birds to your park or yard with millet. Right now painted buntings are enjoying a spray, each day on my feeder!

  • Birds love this

    By on

My two parakeets love millet. Try not to overfeed, only twice a week but they go through these. Even argue over who gets to eat first!
