Feeding Instructions

For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location. It is best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. Replace weekly or more frequently if desired. Do not allow your bird to eat only spray millet. The majority of its diet should consist of 1 of Kaytee's nutritionally fortified diets. Store in a cool, dry location.

  • My birds love it!

Our Finches and Parakeets love these. They consider them a treat (we don't feed sweet treats like honey stix etc). And the only thing to watch is once the finches have stripped the sprays of seeds, they will dunk the twig in their water to soften it, then weave it in the cage bars & will keep going until they have made a nest to breed. We don't want them to make babies so we purposefully have not placed store bought nests inside. But finches are smart, and they will make their own out of twigs, feathers, strips of newspaper cage liners, even will roll a cage liner up into a funnel cone and start moving in! Amazing little birds. But I digress.... The millet sprays are always fresh and chock Our Finches and Parakeets love these. They consider them a treat (we don't feed sweet treats like honey stix etc). • Really Fresh!

    By on

I received it and it was sealed well so all the millet is fresh. I like the sizing because it's just enough for my Cockatiel. Others are sometimes too large that I would have to cut them in half. But I really like this brand and so does my bird!

My parrotlets are eating double the amount of millet since I've started buying this brand. Its very clean and extremely fresh which is why I believe my birds are eating twice as much now. Orders are always shipped in two days.

  • "Diva" Treats

We adopted a white dove and she loves to have her millet. She lets us know when she is out (at the top of her lungs). Glad to see the millet long not short or broken. Lots of millet in the bag.

Not the largest millet that I have ever bought but okay. My 35 year old cockatiel seems to like it and strips all the seed from the sprigs. Doesn't ship very well with larger heavier items.

  • My birds love millet.

I believe the Millet you sell is safe and sufficient for the birds I have. But, if you can get to a pet store with fresh millet it is much larger in comparison and fresher.

  • Enriching food item

My doves love getting new millet sprays. Not only do they enjoy snacking on them but they love to carry them around and use the old sprays as nesting materials.

  • Good - bird enjoys them

    By on

The millet seems OK, bird enjoys them but spray is a bit too dried out and the stem breaks very easily. Sprays are rather small, but worth it for the price!

  • Great product!

My six parakeets love their milet spray!! These are great because they’re easy to attach to their cage! They don’t last too long but they sure enjoy ‘em!
