Feeding Instructions

For best results, hang a spray of millet by a clip or insert in a holder near a perch or in an easily accessible location. It is best to keep the millet off the bottom of the cage where it may become contaminated. Replace weekly or more frequently if desired. Do not allow your bird to eat only spray millet. The majority of its diet should consist of 1 of Kaytee's nutritionally fortified diets. Store in a cool, dry location.

  • Best Millet

    By on

My birds prefer this brand of millet over other brands. The lighter the shade of millet, the faster they gobble it down. :) Delivery was fast. Prices were awesome compared to the pet store. If the pet store ever goes out of business, you will become my main supplier. I would do it now because of price and delivery, but I have developed a friendship with the pet store owner, and I am loyal.

  • Really Fresh!

    By on

I received it and it was sealed well so all the millet is fresh. I like the sizing because it's just enough for my Cockatiel. Others are sometimes too large that I would have to cut them in half. But I really like this brand and so does my bird!

  • Enriching food item

My doves love getting new millet sprays. Not only do they enjoy snacking on them but they love to carry them around and use the old sprays as nesting materials.

  • My birds love it!

Our Finches and Parakeets love these. They consider them a treat (we don't feed sweet treats like honey stix etc). And the only thing to watch is once the finches have stripped the sprays of seeds, they will dunk the twig in their water to soften it, then weave it in the cage bars & will keep going until they have made a nest to breed. We don't want them to make babies so we purposefully have not placed store bought nests inside. But finches are smart, and they will make their own out of twigs, feathers, strips of newspaper cage liners, even will roll a cage liner up into a funnel cone and start moving in! Amazing little birds. But I digress.... The millet sprays are always fresh and chock Our Finches and Parakeets love these. They consider them a treat (we don't feed sweet treats like honey stix etc). • Parakeet LOVED it

    By on

My parakeet loves millet. He seemed to like this one better than the other brand I gave him, as it seems to be better quality. Saying he loves thus one is an understatement.

    By on

My birds love this seed but I need more help in How to hang them up. They fall as they eat them Needs like a plastic wire on the end so we can Hang up and long enough to adjust the length. I will not buy until something is done to correct it.

My picky bird loves this millet. I give her a fresh one daily. She's a 16 year old bird with finicky taste.
