Kaytee Peanut Cake Wild Bird Food makes delivering your feathered friends their favorite treats easy and convenient. This seed cake is made of tasty ingredients that will make birds flap happy. Just slip the seed cake into a Kaytee Cake Feeder for convenient feeding. There’s no feeder cleanup or removal of old seed to worry about. Seed cakes last longer than loose seed, and birds can’t push loose seed out of the feeder, so there’s less waste. This blend is a great source of energy and protein. Rock hard seed cake

    By on

After hanging this in VERY humid weather, this seed cake has become ROCK HARD. When I hung it the previous day, I was able to use my finger to dislodge a few peanuts. Very odd as I'd think humidity would make the seed cake chewy. This seed cake IS attracting a lot of birds. Unfortunately it doesn't seem they are able to actually eat them due to the hardness.
