My cardinals love it! They had quick coming to feed from my feeders until I added back these seed cakes. Now i have both the male and female cardinals who come and eat both the birdseed and these seed cakes. It’s very nice to sit on my patio while I drink my morning coffee and watch the cardinals eat and chirp.

This seed cake is always very fresh, and attracts a large variety of birds. Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Chickadees, Titmice, etc. Thankfully the Mockingbirds haven't realized there are mealworms in this yet! I am using the upside down copper suet/seed cake feeder purchased here, but if the Mockingbirds find mealworms below or realize I'm putting them out, they'll take over and keep all others away. So far, so good! Highly recommend, and keep in our order rotation.

Fantastic!

I was worried these wouldn't fit the wooden seed cake feeder I bought at the big-box hardware store because the measurements seemed pretty off, but they fit perfectly!!

I was worried these wouldn't fit the wooden seed cake feeder I bought at the big-box hardware store because the measurements seemed pretty off, but they fit perfectly!! All the birds love these seed cakes, but especially the woodpeckers. Oh, and (for better or worse) the squirrels love them, too... I'll definitely keep buying these. We go through about one per week (with a lot of birds and critters) but it takes them much longer to get through the cake than to empty the seed feeder, so I call that a win. No problems in the early summer heat of SC, either.
