About This Item

Details

  • The inclusion of beetroot and linseed provides natural antioxidants and quality omega-3 for your horse’s overall health.
  • Protexin probiotics and prebiotics are globally recognized for their ability to support and stabilize the microbial balance in the hindgut, promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria.
  • This non-heating and highly palatable mash is perfect for easy-keeper types, veterans in need of a partial hay replacer, and horses and ponies prone to digestive disturbances such as gastric ulcers, colic, loose droppings, hindgut acidosis, and seasonal digestive issues.
  • With less than 2% sugar, Pink Mash is an ideal choice for horses with hindgut disturbances and metabolic horses and ponies.
  • Hydration is crucial for competition horses, and Pink Mash provides a convenient and effective solution by being easily added to their daily feed or a bucket of water to encourage uptake.

So easy

Horses love it. Ridiculously easy as it takes 1 min to soak. Perfect for winter when everything freezes if it sits.

Diarrhea non stop

My horse loves the taste of pink mash, unfortunately he’s had diarrhea almost ever day since we started the product 6 months ago. Discontinuing has helped.

I was disappointed to learn that product iron content higher then what label states. I purchased it to make regular beet pulp more palatable however, my mule is insulin resistant and on special medication. The higher iron makes pink mash unsuitable as a replacement for beet pulp that has been rinsed soaked . Too bad I was looking forward to replacing beet pulp with pink mash.

I have a 24 year old mare who is a picky eater and will do fine for a bit then will quit eating after a bit . She loves this stuff. Has helped her maintain her weight and assisted with her loose stools. Soaking time is very short so helps in our northern winters. This product has definitely helped her.

My horses LOVE this feed line. The pink mash is a huge hit. I have horses just clamouring for it in the morning. They’ve never been more eager for their morning meals. My elderly mini mare who struggled with weight gain is fat and happy again thanks to this mash.

The bag arrived in perfect condition, no damage or holes for product to slip out. Upon opening the bag I observed the product is teeny tiny pellets. I put a cup into a feed bucket and added 1 cup of water. Note, this is not the recommended ratio per the bag. I did not want it to be "sloppy", but more fluffy. It puffs up super fast! We gave this product to four of horses. All four horses gave it Four Hooves Up for taste! I was super excited about this product since I have horses with a history of ulcers and one that is an extremely easy keeper, so low sugar, low starch is a must. This product is loaded with probiotics and an excellent way to get extra fluid into your equine. If using this as an add-on to a feed regimen to supplement with probiotics I think product is super - with the small amount needed this bag will last quite awhile. This was such a hit with the horses that it is safe to say it will be a staple in our barn!
