I have a microwave warmer, Now I have a puppy. If he chews or bites into warmer, will liquid inside hurt him? I love this warmer for my older dog, but puppy likes to chew.

Why is this pet warmer for indoor use only? Why can’t it be placed in an outdoor cat house?

The bed warmer will not be able to compete with the outdoor temperatures the way an electrical pet bed can. It will cool down too fast outdoors so it is recommended for indoor use only.

Bought these for strays in our neighborhood to help keep them warm in the cold season in their outdoor houses. These stay warm for 4-6 hours (less if the cats are not on them, longer if the cats are on them). But the smell was so strong at first it was nauseating for me and super bad in the enclosed space of an outdoor pet house. So far the smell has only reduced slightly and even after the pads are warmed and taken outside, the stench lingers in the house a long time.

Did not work as expected

It took 10 minutes, heating one unit. And then was not completely soft at the top center. My microwave is 9 months old and habe only used it 2 months of that time

It took 10 minutes, heating one unit. And then was not completely soft at the top center. My microwave is 9 months old and habe only used it 2 months of that time. The units were used inside a cat cage and did not hold heat, i wrapped in a towel, and the cats refused to lay on the squishy pad. My husband did not like the smell of the odor of microwaving them . As it took about 25 minutes total to heat the two pads separately.

It really isn't the most comfortable - the inside material melted unevenly so by the time I finished heating it up, I could still feel semi-hard chunks in the pad

Staying warm - ferals

It heats up quickly in a larger mictowave but it only stays warm for 4 hours or so in cold, cold weather. Then again it is only 20 degrees F.

It gets cold outside for the ferals.

Doesn’t get soft

Love, love, love!

I use these for everything! I set them up under new born kittens. The heat is steady, easily padded and not to much. I set these up under injured animals. It is

I use these for everything! I set them up under new born kittens. The heat is steady, easily padded and not to much. I set these up under injured animals. It is a nice bit of no pressure heat on a mending hip or and arthritic back. I set these up on top of, under and in crates to knock off the chill. I use these under padded beds for a little extra. I set these up around a chilled animal I am holding after a bath. I currently have six and some days it is not enough. They heat up in five minutes. They are soft and flexible. Very comfortable. Nice steady heat for lots of hours. And sometimes, I use them on my back. We all have that day! They are also large enough for several kittens to lay on while mom’s cat nurses them . They are incredibly sturdy. My oldest pack is almost five years old. Dogs digging on it have not torn or punctured it.
