I purchased these so the pesky starlings and blackbirds wouldn't be able to perch and eat all the seed. These feeders are exactly what I wanted. Narrower than other cylinder feeders, but hold a good amount, and the perches are perfect for the smaller birds, but prove difficult for the starlings, blackbirds, and grackles. Currently using them for safflower and black sunflower. Will purchase more soon!

They are very light weight

I'm used to the much more expensive feeders from Wild Birds Unlimited. These are the same design but flimsy compared to the ones from WBU.

Volume it holds is great!
