I have used Kin&Kind flea/tick spray before and it worked well. This newest one is different, so much so that I was concerned something happened to my bottle and emailed the company. This is thicker, almost like a thin lotion consistency which is new. And it doesn't seem to work. Applied it before an outing, where we walked mostly a sandy dune path and found several ticks after only a short walk. Disappointing compared to products purchased in years past.
I know the safer, natural repellants have to be applied more often. This product doesn't work on a puppy with daily applications.
I used it on my dog when we went for a hike, after that hike I found over 30 ticks on my dog’s face and body. All of the ticks were alive, luckily only one bite my dog and I have to clip it out. I even found one tick that was still alive after bathing and drying! Very disappointed!
Ive been reading the reviews and seen where one person thought they changed the formula well I had the very first one I ever bought and yes they have changed it they no longer put neem oil in it among some other stuff Thats why its not working
I was actually optimistic about this product since it contained lemon grass, but it was no match for fleas. My dogs came in covered. Hopefully it deterred the mosquitoes.
I bought this to keep mosquitoes from stinging my dogs when we are in the backyard. I like to also use it when we go on walks to keep pests away. It works! The lemon one smells a little like citronella but it kept the pests away. I use it in conjunction with frontline plus because in south Texas the fleas and mosquitoes are vicious because of the terrible heat and humidity. Since the frontline doesn’t repel this is great for that and I don’t have to use frontline as often.
Keeps bugs away from the dogs, the doorways and sprayed around where I sit outside, bugs stay away from me! Only wish it lasted all day. Will buy this again...
They changed something about the formula and now it doesn't work anymore. Shame
Brings fleas to surface but does not kill them? I hoped it would get rid of them.
I like the smell and it seems to be working, so I’m satisfied.
