Dont expect your average gelatinous wet dog food with this can of Pure Shreds. It's more like a can of delicious chicken soup. It smells terrific and looks basically

Dont expect your average gelatinous wet dog food with this can of Pure Shreds. It's more like a can of delicious chicken soup. It smells terrific and looks basically like a can of soup meant for people to eat. I mixed it with some kibble for the 2 westies because I was concerned it was a tad too liquidy for them and would get it all over their beards. They both loved it! I'm not surprised because, again, it looks and smells so good. The quality seems to be great. I subtracted 1 star because of how it could potentially be messy for some breeds either due to their grooming style or eating habbits.

I have one dog that will eat anything, one dog that is the pickiest heater I’ve ever known, and the third is just kind of somewhere in the middle. But all three of them are a huge fan of the shreds and every once in a while, they get into a period of boredom with their food and having this as a topper has insured that all of them eat every meal, every time. They are a huge fan of these shreds and I plan to buy the variety pack from this same brand just so they can try some other flavors to have on hand. One of them is on unlimited ingredient diet, so it’s really important that he have access to real ingredients that aren’t super processed.

Picky Dog Loves This Food!

I was having trouble finding a dog food my 7 year old, 23 lb. Sheltie would eat, but he loves this food and eats every drop I serve him. I typically feed him a 1/2 a can in the evening, but I also supplement with other food throughout the day. If I don't have something else to feed him, he will gladly take an extra serving of this in the morning. I typically do not like the smell and texture of regular canned dog food, so I was searching for something that looked more like people food, and this fits my needs. This food has a very plesant smell and looks just like real chicken. It also has smal bits of veggies mixed in. When I first openned the can, it looked a bit soupy, but it really isn't too much. When you put it on a plate, there is a bit of broth, but my dog seems to enjoy that along with all the meat. There seems to be very little fillers. He also seems to have more energy since starting this food. This food is exactly what we've been searching for. Both my dog and I love it.

We've had to resort to grinding chicken for her. Adding this to her food has given her new incentive to eat her food! We are so grateful! It also makes it just a little easier to give her bills.

This product gets a hands up, 5 stars from me and my 3 Pups.I started adding as a topper( substituted for chicken breast) and from day 1 they all loved it , no problems. It smells great, I chose it to help keep the weight down, as they are 3 spayed females. The first ingredient is broth, so it helps fill the belly , but no extra calories , and still very nutritious . And the pumpkin is a plus. A winning combination.
