The KONG ZoomGroom for Cats features 2-in-1 capabilities. In addition to grooming, its massaging mechanisms will put your furry friend into a blissful state. The soft, rubber fingers act as a magnet for loose fly away hairs. Regular grooming with the KONG ZoomGroom can help condition the skin and reduce hairball formation. The gentle massage action calms stressed or anxious cats, especially in potentially traumatic situations such as veterinarian visits. Firm and flexible 3/4-inch rubber teeth reach through the coat to carefully massage the skin.
Easy-grip brush is flexible and gentle for your pet.
Groom, bathe and massage your cat all at once.
Helps prevent hairball formation to keep your house cleaner and your cat happier.
Durable material for extended use.
Ergonomic grip makes it easier for you to use, too.
This is good cat technology. My cat loves this brush so much, she sometimes licks the brush while I am brushing her. She is a rescue. When I first adopted her, I tried brushing her with a slicker brush, but after one brushstroke, she ran away from the brush and hid. The rubber brush is the way to go for a shorthaired cat who otherwise dislikes being brushed.
gets lot of fur off
on Nov 20, 2020
My cat doesn't particularly like to be brushed but when we do use it, we are able to get a lot of fur off. The flat back is helpful in getting fur off my clothes and the couch. Took off one star because the brush doesn't "hold" the fur like a slicker brush does and the fur will fluff everywhere so there is more to clean afterwards.
Daily screamings for brushing
on Oct 11, 2020
One cat already loved being brushed, but now we have a daily routine where I stand in a certain spot and drag my fingers across the rubber bristles so it makes a subtle popping noise, and she GALLOPS over while shrieking from any room in the house, and then writhes all over the rug while I brush her. (I do have to vacuum after as the fur gets all over the rug.) She used to love her wire brush and now if I bring that out she slinks away and chirps at me scoldingly until I bring out this one instead.
The other never liked the wire brush, and he won't come running for this one but if he's already relaxed and sleeping in one spot I can brush him with this and he starts purring and wiggling aroundOne cat already loved being brushed, but now we have a daily routine where I stand in a certain spot and drag my fingers across the rubber bristles so it makes a subtle popping noise, and she GALLOPS over while shrieking from any room in the house, and then writhes all over the rug while I brush her. i have 2 short hair kittens who love this brush. it is very soft and i was surprised that it collected hair at all, but it does. i have no idea how it works on long hair, but gentle and massaging for short hair. the kittens love the massage of the soft bristles and run for me when i pick it up.
Depends on the cat
on Oct 4, 2020
I have two cats. One loves this and we developed a grooming hour where she yells at me to pet her with this brush. The other one absolutely hates the sight of this and runs away if I touch him with it. The one that loves this, I can brush her lightly or rough, either way she purrs and purrs and wants me to continue. She also likes playing and chewing with this, and so far the silicon has not given up yet. Really happy that I got this for the one cat!
Great for seniors

My vet highly recommended this for my almost 19 yo cat. She has trouble reaching spots on her back to groom and this really helps. Plus she just loves the massage it gives her.

Fur comes right off!

This thing def does it’s job!!! I usually use this first then a regular wired brush after on my long-haired cat. After just a few swipes I’ll have a whole pile of fur on the floor!
Not for shorthaired cats
on Sep 14, 2020
The bristles are too long and spaced out to get any hairs from my short-haired cats. It might work for massaging and shampooing them, but they haven't needed a bath since I adopted them a few months ago. One cat is terrified of this thing - she likes the other brushes, but maybe this one hurts or pulls at her hair? I wish it worked since it is so cute, but all it does is attract a few hairs through static electricity.
Gets off a lot of fur
on Sep 19, 2020
I like using this brush because it gets a lot of fur off the cats and they like the feel of it. But be aware that not all the fur stays on the brush during the brushing process. It will float off/around the cat. I also use a slicker brush but this one gets additional fur. My routine - use the slicker indoors, use the ZoomGroom outdoors.
