is there a difference between the Kong brush for cats and dogs? can I use the cat one on my puppy?

While this brush was designed with cats in mind, we have received customer reports of using it on their dogs as well.

How easy is it clean and keep emptying out as to continue brushing. Getting the fur out of most brushes is a chore.

This gets out a ton of hair and my cats seem to prefer this over the many other brushes I've tried. The only downside is that the hair kind of goes everywhere and it's not the easiest to clean (but you can just rinse it when you're done, I just don't want a bunch of cat hair going down my drain).

Nice to combine with other types of brushing

I use this on my short-hair cats. It does require adding a lot of (if any pressure). It's a nice gentle option to use with the fulminator brush I use for the undercoat

Amazing!

I got this for my two cats, one of which who DESPISES brushing. Cat who despises brushing still despises this brush unfortunately, but it does a phenomenal job

I got this for my two cats, one of which who DESPISES brushing. Cat who despises brushing still despises this brush unfortunately, but it does a phenomenal job. The almost adult kitten I have loves it, too much so actually, she gets overstimulated and wants you to keep doing it and will drag it to her body if you try to stop, but will periodically bite and acts like a spaz lol. I also tried it on my medium coated husky, and it worked great for her too! She also hates brushing but tolerates this. It took an ungodly amount of hair off of all of them, buy it YESTERDAY!

LOVE this brush!

LOVE this brush! The rubber tines are soft enough that they love to be brushed with it. I just wish that I could figure out how to make the hair stick to the brush

I just wish that I could figure out how to make the hair stick to the brush (I'm going to try misting water on it next time). These rubber brushes are the ones that my cats enjoy the most - still trying to convince my long-haired diva cat Hope that brushing is enjoyable.

My domestic shorthair cat did not enjoy the brush even when being extremely gentle and slow with it. She is a bit sensitive with her back so maybe the brush is a bit too harsh for her. Ended up getting a glove brush, which she prefers much more The few times I did manage to use this brush on her, it did a decent job removing her excess fur. So good brush if your cat is not too sensitive
