Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
I have two power chewer dogs who love to destroy toys about two minutes after receiving them. But they've had this one for about a week and it's still kicking! It's definitely torn up but all the limbs are still attached (even if just barely). That's nearly unheard of for these dogs. (My toddler also loves it XD). Would definitely recommend this toy.
My dog really loves this toy. He is a chewer. So this help him to get his chewing fix in and he can't destroy it 7 he also loves playing with this toy with the squeaky in it. Very safe toy for then to chew!
I got the fox and elephant version of this toy previously and those held up well over months before slowly being destroyed. I got this and within five minutes Barnaby had gotten through the ear. I think the fabric on the ear needs to be reinforced because it's much too weak and too big of a temptation. Other than that, my dog loved it, but it's one of the toys I'm going to need to monitor carefully so he doesn't eat it.
I got it in Dec last year. The knots is already broken after playing just a few times (I toke it away and rotate with other toys). And you can see the fabric around the knots also broken, my dog could get the cotton inside. I am disappointed at Kong, I thought their toys are durable, thats why I bought it. Now I have to buy another one for my dog.
My dog Mari absolutely loves the fox, so I thought I would let her try the bunny out to see if it was just as big of a hit with her. Unfortunately it was not. The ears on the bunny are much easier for her to tear through and less than an hour after playing with it she had already ripped a ton of fabric off and I had to take the toy away so she wouldn't swallow any of it. I love the Floppy Knots kong toys but I will not be buying the bunny again. I recommend the fox though if you wanna try the toy!
I really like that there' ROPE in it, which make it difficult for my dog Maggie to pull the stuffing out, since there is none. Maggie generally gets weary of new toys in a few days, but she exhibited a behavior with this one that she's not exhibited before: she took it with her outside, through the dog door and out into the backyard. Then brought it back in. She's now at the stage where she sniffs it daily but then decides not to play with it, but that was to be expected. I have to try to steal it to re-generate her interest. Pretty cool toy in odd, interesting colors. It was on sale, and it was Christmas, so...
This bunny is well made. It lasted 2 weeks before total destruction by my heavy chewer. It was in rags by week 1, but hung on a little while longer. The ropes will shred to strings. This should be great with a moderate chewer.
i bought this and another kong toy. both were destroyed within a half hour. the other toy took about 5-10 minutes of play and this one was about 20 minutes. all of their stuffed toys last at least a month or two so for these to last not even a half hour is dissapointing, espeially since kong brand is supposed to be a more durable option. would not buy again
This toy has lasted longer than any other. I was so impressed by the quality of the other Kong knot toys I had to give it a try. My dogs love it. Normal toys may last a day or two, it has been a month now and it is still hanging there.
My boy is a Micro American Bully. So naturally he destroys all his toys. But this bunny is literally his favorite. He chewed the heck out of each limb and loved every second. The rope didnt completely fall apart into pieces like other ropes it held up nicely to fetch and Reptar pulling and chewing on it. Definitely ordering another one for him on payday! He loves his bun bun!
