Can the KONG be washed in the dishwasher?

KONG toys can be washed in the sink using warm water, soap and a bottle brush or toothbrush. For truly tough gunk removal, KONG toys are top-rack dishwasher safe (skip the heated dry cycle).

Do these leak the treats out all over the place as the dog plays?

Depending on the treats you use, you can stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users using the KONG snacks or your dog's favorite kibble. You can also use KONG Easy Treats or a dash of peanut butter.

Are these toys latex free?

KONG rubber products are actually related to latex, as natural rubber is made from latex. Latex is the actual physical “gooey” material that is extracted from the rubber trees. Natural rubber is then produced through a variety of processes but some of the relationship to latex does remain. For example, KONG natural rubber toys are a slightly different material then the latex used in latex gloves. Not everyone with a latex allergy will have a reaction to the natural rubber KONG uses. However, to be safe, we would recommend consulting your doctor just in case. If you do try a KONG natural rubber toy, make sure to pay close attention for any reactions or changes.

Better then a bone

My pup is 38 pounds and chews stuff up like her stuffed animals and bones only last a day if that. One of these kongs had lasted her 7 months! And still going strong

My puppy chews thinks so I bought this with the puppy squeeze bottle. He licks till he tongue can’t reach but doesn’t chew this. That’s not so much the issue but

That’s not so much the issue but the leftover gets loved inside and is a pin in the but to clean out. I bought pup cup so hoping to make the transition to using that to avoid this issue so we will see.
