I have been recently purchasing Kong cat toys to stimulate our 9-year-old cat, almost 10. Our 3-year-old needs play time too of course! This toy has unpredictable movements, which challenge and engages our cat. He loves chasing the ball to catch the yellow piece. Fun! My only complaint is the yellow piece frays and falls apart easily. I recommend the kong toys for cats.
My two cats are both pretty picky with toys, most things they're uninterested in or get bored of quickly. But not this one, it's a huge hit! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it really needs a ton of wide open space, or you need to move it around every minute or two because it travels all over the place, which is great for the cats but is annoying for me when I wanted them to have a toy for playing by themselves.
She actually prefers the cheap top tassel part over the electronic spinning. This was too chunky and didnt have enough movement
Titi was a little apprehensive at first, but now they both love it! I have a great time watching them with it. It does seem that the yellow tip could wear out quickly, I just ordered replacements to have on hand.
My cat, aka Inbox Cat, is one of the laziest cats anywhere. When we introduced the Whirlwind Cat Toy to her, she was instantly intrigued. Once she got over her initial wariness, she hunted it and played with it whether it was spinning or not. We love it!
The cat does not interact with this toy, perhaps because it is a large size, but does watch it and keeps it's interest, the nice thing is that it turns off by itself after 15 minutes, so it's a good toy that holds your cat's attention.
My kitten was scared of this at first, but now she loves this thing. Works best on hard flooring. The erratic movement keeps her guessing and the ball goes all over so she can bat and chase. Not great on carpet.
Cats enjoyed watching it and sometimes liked to play with it.
This toy does not work well on carpet and is loud on wood/tile floors.
all it does is get stuck in corners and makes alot of noise. cats kinda liked it but when it gets stuck they just watch it or walk away,
