Disappointed Not for Serious Chewers
Felt nice, heavy and sturdy. Unfortunately, Scarlett's goal is to see how quickly she can destroy rope toys. She is a mix of 5 different types of cattle dog, she should have been named "Jaws". This was destroyed within 15 minutes and I had to throw it away. This would be a great toy for dogs that love to fetch or play "TUG", I would recommend for a dog that wants to PLAY with their toys, not kill them!
didn’t last 10 minutes
Not for dogs that like to pull on toys/chew, my 20lb frenchie was unraveling and eating strings within 10 minutes of opening. Could be fine for a more gentle dog that wants a toy to hold on to
Not that tough
I recently got this to for my Cane Corso puppy based on the fact that it says for giant breed in the description. It felt like a good quality toy. Once we put it to some tugging, found that what looks like a knot in the nylon pieces is just a band of material over the ends. Once that was pulled off there was a single stitch holding the whole thing together. This led to catastrophic failure within about a half hour. I wouldn't recommend this past a LG breed.
Not durable at all
This item arrived yesterday and is already destroyed. I have a chocolate lab and he played tug of war with his friend a few times and chewed it for a bit until he got it to completely unravel. Have literally had this for less than 24 hours.
Short life
We have many Kong toys and I am a fan, this on however did not make the mark. This toy lasted maybe a day with the puppy, he played around with it for a few hours but then it was easy for him to break it apart. Disappointed
Kong toy review
Our 20 Khloe loves the tug toy but had begun to chew the rope where it attaches To the fiber. The design is somewhat flawed in that area but all in all a good toy
Very happy with this item!
I bought two of these toys as Christmas gifts. The two recipients are quite different in terms of breed, size, age, and personality, but both dogs were enthusiastic about these Wubbas right from the start. A couple of weeks later, the toys are still intact. Great purchase!
Not very durable.
My 106# German shepherd your through this kong toy faster than I could get it away from him. Totally destroyed in under 5 min. NOT for big chewers.
This toy is durable!!!
We've had this toy for about a year and it is indestructable! Our two yorkies play tug of war with this toy all the time and it has never torn or frayed a single bit. Kong really makes some of the best & durable pet toys. And this small size was perfect for our 5 & 6 lb Yorkies.
Better lasting than other toys
My pup is a ridiculous chewer and it's always a struggle getting toys that last more than 5 minutes. This one did hold up a bit longer than other toys; but he did still make it through it after a day or so. If you have a mild chewer, they will get lots of use out of this toy. If your dog is like mine, just be prepared for it not to last to long.
