Traveling with your fur-ever friend should be fun and the hassle-free Kurgo Direct to Seatbelt Dog Collar Tether allows just that. It attaches directly to your doggo’s harness via the included carabiner then clicks into your vehicle’s seatbelt slot for a safer car ride. Easy to use, just leave the tether clicked in between trips, eliminating the need to undo the seatbelt each time. You and your best girl can enjoy road trips without wasting precious time worrying about safety.
The extendable tether can be adjusted from 15"-22" for a broader range of movement.
Prevents distracted driving by keeping your dog restrained and out of your lap, keeping you and your best fur-riend safe.
Ideal for use with the Kurgo Buckle Barrier for added security.
Included carabiner attaches to any harness, offers universal fit.
Universal fit for most vehicles. Not recommended for Ford F-Series vehicles, incompatible with Volvo.
I love the seatbelt tether I purchased from Chewy. I bought 3 each of my dogs. I also bought harnesses to use. They are so easy to use and now I don’t have to worry about my fur babies when I am driving. I don’t have to worry about them jumping from the backseat to the front and causing me to have an accident. I am so glad I purchased these .
Amazing and such a relief!

We have two of these in the car and it allows us to relax while driving with our two dogs in the backseat. Keeps them still and secure and no longer have to worry about them jumping in the front. Highly recommend!
Keeps my mind at ease

I have a 4m puppy and taking him to the vet I’d just hold his harness with one hand or hold his leash close. But now with this I can focus on driving 100%. Its adjustable so he can sit or lay down if he wants without the strap being too loose or tight.
I really like it.
I know i will use it as he grows
The carabiner is very heavy duty. I have no doubts. I just clip it onto my puppy’s harness.
Second one for dog #2

I already had one that I use with my adult dog and his harness. This second one is for my new dog and his harness. They are great.

I am a volunteer transport for rescue dogs for Saving Great Animals Rescue, Baja Critters Rescue, The Pitty Project PNW, Casa Dogs Rescue and Rescue Unleashed. Keeping my dog passengers safe while transporting them after surrenders, to vet appointments, from transport arrivals and the airport. I’ve lost many dog seatbelts to chewers, and in one case an aggressive dog. Having them restrained in my car is important for their safety and mine, since I do not keep them crates. These seatbelts are more expensive than the others I’ve had and I needed to replace. I need to buy more to keep on hand, and these made by Kurgo.
Don't stay in seatbelt clip!

These are well made. However, they come unlatched. Our dogs step on seat clip and it unlocks the tether. Was disappointed for I want our girls safe. No matter how I connect they step on belt part and it unlocks. Not chewys fault!
This is great - but not for big dogs

This worked out really well for us when our pup was smaller, but now that he's 60 pounds at 7 months, it's an awkward length for his height and he's figured out how to step on it and unbuckle it.
Peace of mind

Keeps the pups secure and prevents wandering so I can stay focused on driving. Great quality!
Nice, but becomes unbuckled

My dog paces in the car so we use this tether pretty much daily. He started unbuckling the tether- I'm pretty sure by accident because I doubt he could figure out how to do that on purpose. I fixed it by using one of my own carabiners to attach the buckle end of the leash to that carseat hook in the seats of the car and that seems to work well. Overall it's great if your dog doesn't unbuckle themselves.
Awesome and secure!

I use this for my blue heeler mix. She doesn't mind it at all. She is well behaved in the car and she usually just lays down or sits, but this gives me peace of mind that if I need to slam on my breaks or anything, that she won't get hurt.
