This Coat is designed to allow for bathroom breaks and does not cover the lower abdomen of the pet.

The coats are available in Blue and Orange, Ink Blue and Aqua, Purple and Gray, Green and Gray, and Green and Forest.

What are the size measurements for this coat?

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, next to the “Description” and “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

It reaches -40 some times where I live. Is this coat warm enough to go out in that?

We have a Kurgo core sweater in XS that fits our 13# pup perfectly. I ordered this jacket in the same size, thinking it would fit the same, but it doesn’t. It’s very short in length and covers only about half of her back. To me, that defeats the purpose of putting a coat on her in the first place. I’m going to return it and try a small, because I really like this lightweight jacket for Sunny.

This is fairly easy to get on, and has a nice opening on the top for a leash if your dog wears a harness for walks. It is thinner than expected, but still seems to be warm. We have a long lean dog and the medium was the size recommended, it is just a little short behind his front legs, but since he only needs it for walks/hikes it isn't on all that long we are keeping it. Large would be entirely too big.

I contacted Chewy about returning it and was I'd be contacted in 24-48 hours. It's now been four business days and I have not yet heard back. I love both Kurgo products and Chewy, but both missed the mark on this experience.

Easy harness access

Not sure why this says large purple. I bought blue medium. This is a nice reversible coat with zipper access for a harness. It is easy to layer with a Kurgo sweater

Love the coat, zipper not so much.
