I bought this after being warned by my vet that extractions may be warranted during the next dental cleanings for my two 9-year old cats. They’ve always hated water additives for teeth, so I bought this food supplement with the hope that it would pass their taste test. I had to build up to the right dosage, but they haven’t seemed to notice it at all. After about a month of use, they had to go in for dental cleanings and I was happily informed by the vet that my girls didn’t need any teeth extractions after all! I credit this product as being part of the reason.
Its been 4 weeks and my cats breath is still stinky and she's still drooling BUT the drool is now clear instead of gross looking so maybe its working? She's eating again and playful again too which makes me feel a lot better but I can tell sometimes her teeth are still bothering her. I give this to her in a pate and she eats it fine sometimes, other times I have to mix in a lickables treat to get her to eat it. I'm going to buy another bottle and see if the improvement continues, maybe 4 weeks isn't long enough to see the full benefits.
I’ve been putting this in both of my cats’ food once a day for about a month now and have already noticed my one problem kitty having less stinky breath. Usually she is very picky with food, but the unflavored version is easy to mix into her favorite food and she eats her food like normal. My other cat will eat just about anything so no issue with him taking the supplement either. We just finished our first bottle and will be purchasing again!
I have 3 cats- 2 are kittens. 1 of my kittens has always had dental issues. Her gums would be extremely red and inflamed, and super sore to the point where it was tough for her eating kibble. Her breath was just as bad. My vet's office and I tried prednisolone-no help. We tried atopica which helped some but when I got this and gave her some- it helped tremendously especially with her breath. At a recent check up with a vet the vet was amazed at how good her breath smelled and this is what helped.
My cat is sort of picky (but not extremely for a cat) about additives. I was worried for the plague because I couldn't get her to brush teeth everyday and I tried the powdered products before which worked ok. I read good reviews about this and got one for my baby but sadly when I put it in her fav wet food she instantly realized it wasn't the same food. I really wanted it to work for her but... The only way is to add it to her lickable treats
This glove works great in the bath as well. My bloodhound loves it. We get tons tons of loose hair now that spring has sprung her new coat is growing in. We get about three baths out of each glove. Highly recommend washing your dog if you do use this glove.
Seems to work good(= pretty fast too! Love the fact that my cats don’t mind it in their food! (They’re picky)
Couldn’t even try the product because the seal under the cap was so hard to get off. When I finally got it off, pieces of the seal were in the product. I just threw it away because I was already frustrated. It was thick like cough syrup and I knew I would never have been able to give it to my cats at that point.
Did someone write a bad review just because the seal was hard to get open? I'm sure they'd complain if it spilled, too. Seriously? 6 weeks after trying this, my cats gums are no longer red and swollen. His teeth look great. I'm so glad I found this product. I put the unflavored in his wet food every morning and he never even noticed! I will definitely keep this in my autoship!
I was so excited to buy this product after seeing all the reviews. When I tried to open it, I was so frustrated!!! After getting the cap off there is an inner seal. I have dealt with these inner seals before because a lot of liquid products have this type of seal but I could not get this inner seal off! I had to use a knife to jam a hole in the seal to try to get it to start tearing away, then with all my might I could not get the seal to peel away. I then tried using a dull knife to scrap away the seal but there is foil and then a thin plastic layer under that. After several, serval attempts to scrap this seal off of the bottle top, the little pieces of foil and plastic were falling into the liquid - and I did not feel safe using this after this. It is like there is some type of super glue on this seal and I could not get it to budge. I don't have any dexterity issues in my hands, I can't image people who may have dexterity issue with their hands would be able to remove this seal at all. Very Disappointed!
