How does this holder attach to an aquarium?

This water bottle holder fits wire cages as well as most aquariums. You'll notice a metal tab on the back, which is the hanger. All you have to do is turn the tab around and then bend the tab over (you can choose where to bend it depending on how high it needs to be).

What morons are designing products for Lixit?

I was so happy to find an 8oz GLASS water bottle for my gerbils, who live in a large tank (made from glass- so can't attach any "wires). I bought the Lixit Guard

I was so happy to find an 8oz GLASS water bottle for my gerbils, who live in a large tank (made from glass- so can't attach any "wires). I bought the Lixit Guard Small Animal Water bottle holder so I could use the water bottle. THEN, I find it is NOT compatible with the 8oz GLASS water bottles THEY sell- only with plastic ones. Chewy is great! Lixit is ridiculous. Their product designers are morons.

Nice bottle holder.

The water bottle is protected so my rabbit can not chew the plastic on the bottom of the water bottle.

Great for my chinchillas

I have two chinchillas in separate cages. It looks great and doesn’t leak. They also are not chewing on the plastic lid but I have the main part outside the cage

Does a great job holding the water bottle, but doesn't really guard the screwcap of the water bottle if used inside of the cage.

Not Compatible With Aquarium

The description stated that it is compatible with aquarium habitats for small animals. Only if the aquarium is open without a lid. I could not use it with my gerbil
