I know to hand wash the pill popper but how do you take it apart to wash out the residue from the liquid used when giving the pill?

To clean the inside of the pill popper, you can fill the tube with warm water as you would get ready to use and squirt the water out. Repeat this until the tube is free of residue.
Can this pill popper be taken apart to wash it? If so, how?
