Over all, not a bad investment, just needs improvements. The areas you put food or treats (not the pockets), need to have longer fabric pieces, needs deeper cups

Over all, not a bad investment, just needs improvements. The areas you put food or treats (not the pockets), need to have longer fabric pieces, needs deeper cups and needs to be bigger. They don’t hide the food or treats and the dog I purchased this for just eats them immediately There are strips of fabric that are like a pocket, but open on 2 opposite sides, those are really easy to get into. The actual pockets under the bone are a little more challenging but there’s only 2. I might stitch some of the ones with 2 openings to make them into proper pockets. I just wish there was a way to make the other parts a little more challenging. She doesn’t seem interested in the squeakers.

Right off the bat, this mat is really cute and I love that it can roll and fold back up with a handy strap. It’s lightweight, easy to open and re-roll, lots of different nooks and crannies for kibble to hide in, so it’s really engaging. The grip on the back helped keep my dogs from sliding around as they ate, but for my crew, it might need a little more to secure it in place. I opened it up and added a scoop of their usual kibble—nothing special to bait them over. All four dogs immediately went to it and started picking out the kibble. After a minute, Titus decided he was done sharing and picked up the whole mat by the bone in the middle and ran off with it. So, if your crew is bad at sharing, get more than one! Otherwise, this went over quite well with my fur babies. Even the cats showed an interest before I let the dogs out to eat.

Low quality, and it really doesn’t squeak

This is a more expensive snuffle mat, and I am trying to figure out why. The fabric is much thinner than my other 2, and there is stitching coming out in certain places. My puppy can sense low quality items and will try to rip them apart, which is what he tried to do with this mat. Also, there is one super tiny squeaker in the middle of the bone and very hard to find. The bone comes up on both ends, which makes it easier for a dog to just pick up the mat and dump it. It’s also more tedious to hide food and treats in this mat because of how the hiding places are set up. I’ll just stick with my other two mats because my puppy just isn’t interested in this one.

I recently got this snuffle mat for my dog, and it has been such a game changer! You can hide little treats or kibble inside the fabric folds, and your dog uses their nose to sniff and search for them. It keeps my pup mentally stimulated, slows down his eating, and gives him a fun challenge every day. The quality is great, easy to clean, and it really helps burn off some energy, especially on rainy days when we can’t go out for long walks. Highly recommend for any dog parent looking to add enrichment and joy to their pet’s routine!

The LuftPets Squeaky Bone Snuffle Mat offers a mixed experience. On the positive side, its large size (24 in / ~63 cm) and anti-slip base are good for indoor activity and for dogs who like sniffing/searching play. The squeaky bone in the center adds novelty, and the fleece material is pleasant and machine-washable. However, durability is weak: despite claims of “chew-proof,” the fabric doesn’t hold up well under determined chewing. Also, the squeaker bone is fun initially, but dogs quickly lose interest if there’s no real challenge. At around $37.99, it feels overpriced given its fragility and limited long-term engagement. Three stars overall: decent, but not outstanding.

I've got two dogs and they both went crazy for this snuffle mat. There are so many hiding spots for the kibble that I'm using: under things, in things, behind things. My dog is still out in the living room with the mat, trying to see if he missed any of the hidden food. One of the things that isn't clear from my pictures is that each little square on the checkerboard is pocket. If you take your time filling each square, your dog will be working on this snuffle mat for a long while. At the end, when he was finally done, Finley just laid his head down the mat like a pillow. Wish I'd taken a picture of that. So cute!
