Do the nuts in this mix have shells? I'm looking for a no waste feed.

There are no shells in this blend of bird food.

Can macaws eat this in small amounts mix with their regular feed?

This food is not recommended to be fed to domesticated animals. The seed could contain pesticides as some seed is harvested overseas and imported. Additionally, wild bird seed is formulated for the nutritional needs of wild birds and may not provide the specific nutrients for pet macaw.

This is my 2nd order of this item from Chewy. I purchased a bag and was impressed with the variety of nuts for the birds. I did a little reading on how to help feed the birds in the cold weather and nuts, raisins and suet were recommended. This blend of fruit and nuts is going to be a great option for the birds that visit my feeder - which is why I ordered a 2nd bag

I love the wild birds

I have lots to see outside my sunroom until winter when it is all white!!! To brighten myself and help the birds, I put out feed all winter. There are a lot around

Along with the rest of things bird seed keeps going up. But with Chewy, I get the seed I want, a good price with the additional advantage of getting delivery at my door.......

Entire 20 pound bag is moldy

The seeds are a decent size .

Got Due to No Mess - but Birds stopped coming

Trying something new that had no shells to spill everywhere and start growing underneath.....this nut and fruit variety had high marks and on receipt looked good

Trying something new that had no shells to spill everywhere and start growing underneath.....this nut and fruit variety had high marks and on receipt looked good but in the past eight weeks instead of refilling every 2-3 days like with the past seed I've found I was only filling it every 3-4 weeks now - obviously not to their liking in mid atlantic - even our cardinals stopped coming. Will try something different.
