Lyric purchase sunflower kernels that are food grade but are seconds. All of their ingredients are screened to remove any dust or debris before bagging.
Does this sprout under feeders when dropped by birds?

Seeds can't germinate without their protective hull. Even if some pieces drop to the ground, they won't add unwanted growth to your garden or turf.
Is this product ok for horses?

Birds Love These Chipped Sunflower Seeds

Most species of birds are attracted to chipped sunflower seeds and there’s never any waste and the ground under the feeders stays clean. The only bird food I use. Price was reasonable and no shipping. Thanks Chewy and Lyric!

Birds Love It

This is an exceptional quality sunflower chips at a reasonable price compared to other places. I purchased same type seed from another vendor and it was more like sunflower powder. It fell right out of the feeder holes.

Probably a good product but neither my backyard birds or squirrels will eat it.

I hate giving a seemingly good product a bad review. However, I have yet to see one bird or one squirrel eat it. I bought it thinking it would help prevent all the mess I get with feeding regular sunflower seed i.e. left over shells—to my squirrels/birds. I have several squirrels currently in my yard eating the intact sunflower seed that I bought at my local Farm and Home. The Lyric sunflower kernals are sitting there untouched. I don’t understand it.

not sure about this product

musty smell, birds and squirrel hesitant. I have questions about if pesticide chemicals are used on it during production or storage. Very common on grains. I own an organic farm and am familiar with that. bought 3 bags. did not buy again even though was handy no shells. actually I watched the finches throw a lot of it on ground?

Good mix of whole and chipped kernels

Sized right for all sunflower eaters. Clean and fresh from the bag. No waste whatsoever. From Finches - Jays appreciate this and this critter 'mama' appreciates the no mess advantage. Works in most feeder styles, as well.

Want to have a clean porch?

I tried this to cut down on seed debris on my porch where I have 2 feeders. The birds love it, and it works. My front porch stays much cleaner now
