Help tremendously with itchy, flaky skin. Smells good too!
This shampoo works! I use it on my GSD who has really bad allergies and skin conditions including hot spots plus he had a yeasty smell. It eased his itching and cured the hotspots. His skin is scabbing but that just means it is healing. This is the best shampoo ever in my opinion. It worked much better than any of the ones with chlor
I used to use this shampoo years ago on my horse for rain rot. My 9 year old GSP recently had a Splenectomy due to a tumor. His immune system is compromised and his skin/coat started to take on a yeasty smell with flaking. Some hair was falling out. Vet recommended a prescription shampoo. I remembered using this and it was a 3rd of the cost for a considerable more amount of product. Second shampoo and his skin started to clear up. The smell dissipated after the first shampoo. There is no fragrance which doesn’t bother me and it seems to soften the hair as well. I use it full strength and kept it on a few minutes, make sure to rinse well, it does adhere and soak into the hair deeply. I will continue with this treatment until it clears up.
I have 13 months old Great Pyrenees and he got several hot spots during the summer. This shampoo worked like magic.
I always use this shampoo throughout the entire spring and summer. It keeps my boys skin and coat looking good. Living in buggy, humid and sometimes miserable South Carolina that means alit!
