A necessity for the health of my birds

After a mink and fox attack, our chickens can no longer freerange for their own safety. While they have nice coops and large outside enclosures, it's not the same

After a mink and fox attack, our chickens can no longer freerange for their own safety. While they have nice coops and large outside enclosures, it's not the same as freerange, when birds peck at the small stones necessary for processing food and keeping them healthy. I make sure to sprinkle handfuls of Manna Pro Grit in their pens so I know they are getting what they need. I like that these are smaller sized since I have some bantams and in general my chickens seem prefer smaller sized grit over larger. The added probiotics are a bonus. I always keep these on hand.

Chickens were not happy

I feed feral chickens and they did not ate it!Neither did the 2 peacocks!I had to buy normal chicken feed like a 25 pound bag.

grit is very large.

Grit is large like fish tank pebbles. wouldn't mind if it was a mix of small with some large but all large pebbles more suited for adult water fowl.

I love Mana pro. I’ve used their things for a variety of species over the years and their probiotic grit is no different. I love it than their regular grit unfortunately,

I love it than their regular grit unfortunately, though the probiotic grit only comes in this bag size from what I’ve seen I have not been able to find a larger bag of it as of yet Which is really my only complaint
