Cat food
My 2 cats love this food. As soon as I go anywhere near their food dish with this they’re super excited and getting into the bag when I’m scooping some for their bowl.
Too Many Crumbs
My cat liked this salmon based food but the last two bags I’ve gotten are full of crumbs. A few normal pieces float among them to highlight just how messed up they are. The bags were stamped “Nov 2024 3039 UP01 L03 S” and the other was the same but ended with “N”. Thankfully Chewy was nice with both a replacement and now a refund, but I want this product back to 100% so I can buy it.
HOLY FOOD DUST
I have been buying this food for about 4 years now, but over the past few months the bags of food have been getting progressively worse with the ungodly amount of food dust. About 1/4 of the bag is powder, an unfortunately my cats don't eat powdered kibble.

Kibble turns to dust
For some reason the kibble for the salmon formula crumbles to a dust the chicken formula doesn’t do this.
Merrick's Purrfect salmon dust
The pieces of dry food are crumbling to dust, which the cats won't eat. I don't know of it is manufacturing, storage, or shipping, but one third of the food has gone in the trash. Cats won't lick up the expensive salmon dust. Very disappointing. I reached out to Merrick but they never replied. I'll never buy from Merrick again.
