My cat did not take this well. For the life of my cat, he will not take any type of pills. I tried pill pockets, mixing it in his lickable treats. I tried in every single thing I even tried to put it in between his dry food so many different things nothing seemed to work so this was my last option. I did get the blue pills flagyl and I crushed them up and put it in a syringe mixed with his favorite puree and give it to him that way which he was taking fine but I was scared. It was tasting bad for him so i said let me just try getting this. WORST IDEA EVER. my cat has never drooled or cried like this before. PLEASE CAT OWNERs, IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAT, DO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUR CAT. my baby started twitching his whole head and crying tears just started coming down, his eyes so bad and he was drooling. I couldn’t take a picture because I’ve never seen anything like that and I panicked. Please I wish someone told me to waste the bottle even if it comes in the mail. I started researching it and reading the reviews on it after it already came in the mail at that point I said let me just try it, but please don’t do this. Throw your money away then seeing my baby like that was so sad. Plus the guilt I felt for knowing what I knew and still tried hoping my cat was different.

Well, I was new to chewy, had to make acc.. to order. I had no idea vets did this. Have you order medication online. I did not know you had to go to your email and do something. Like tell them you ordered it?? not sure what went wrong. They were always kind when I called. But it took 6 or more phone calls. And over 21 days. To be fair on one phone call I was so upset. I said forget it. But My cat was sick, I called back and ask them to please send it I don't know what the problem was. They keep telling me it was blocked, but my vet had told them yes to the med's. They didn't know why it was blocked. They did send everything for free. I have order again from Chewy and was sent right away.

I got this hoping it would be easier to give to my cat, Ranger. The Metronidazole tablets are especially bad and I would have to give them to Ranger on an empty stomach or he would puke them up. I would dissolve the tablets in tuna juice and could successfully get the medicine into him without him vomiting them up as long as his stomach was empty. I found that the compounded metronidazole must have been just as bad tasting as he would puke it up also. It is also understandably more expensive than the pills, which I will stay with in the future.

It was horrible...

It didn't help with Molly's diarrhea...It made her foam at the mouth like a rabid cat...She hid when she knew it was time for a dose...I have nothing positive to

Metronidazole tastes disgusting, and I was having a time trying to get pills into young puppies who were already sick to their stomachs. But this was easy to give with no struggle. The puppies approve of yummy liquid over yucky pills.

It came with a syringe and a nifty plastic top where the syringe is inserted to easily withdraw the medication. I got the chicken flavor but my cats found this medication so repulsive I could not administer it even forcefully. They foamed and drooled out whatever medication I administered. I ended up having to get tablets instead. I would not waste my time and money on this medication as a liquid for cats.

This stuff apparently tastes repulsive to dogs because my dog resisted so badly he shook it everywhere, spit it all over the place, ran and tried to bite me when I tried to give it to him. I have no idea how much he got in his system but I can tell you my husband and I smelled like chicken marshmallow for days. It was awful.

The medicine was good. Customer service initially was poor. I had to call several times to get the issue rectified finally I got a person on the phone, intelligent enough to understand what I was saying this should never happen at a pharmacy. I will think twice the next time I buy the prescription from Chewy.
