MiconaHex+Triz

MiconaHex+Triz is for use on dogs, cats, and horses.  Available as shampoo, spray conditioner, wipes, and mousse, it’s antimicrobial, antifungal, antibiofilm, and moisturizing. Indicated for conditions responsive to miconazole and/or chlorhexidine.

Bathing for Your Pet's Health

Bathing is a necessary part of your pet’s health, and medicated shampoos can help with a variety of skin and coat issues. Plus, products with ceramides introduce more lipids to the skin, which strengthen its barrier and keep out allergens and pathogens.

Topical Dermatology Choices

Ingredients

Watery, leaked in the box

This is the second time I have purchased this that it is watery and not a mousse at all. Even though it was wrapped in plastic it still leaked in the box it came

This is the second time I have purchased this that it is watery and not a mousse at all. Even though it was wrapped in plastic it still leaked in the box it came in. Chewy is great and gave me a partial refund for the product. In the mean time I did reach out to the manufacture of the product and let them know what was going on. I will be sending the bottles information to their quality control team. They did recommend that I don't use the product since it is not the correct consistency.

This item was very watery, no matter how much I shook it. I assumed it would be more like a foam. Otherwise a good product, worked well and I liked that I can apply it to a dry coat and not have to rinse off. Gotta get it down to the skin though! (My boy had to have his spots shaved in order to get it in good). Great for use in between medicated baths.

My Dog hates it, but I love it!

I love the foam application for yeasty paws and it seems to be healing the paws, however, my dog hates the chemical smell and runs when he smells me coming.

Severe allergic reaction - spot test first!

Within two hours of applying this to my dogs belly, inner thighs, and paws he broke out in severe redness and splotches. He was miserable and appeared in pain

My dog, Jasper, suffers from itchy and irritated skin periodically. I experimented with MiconaHex+Triz to try and relieve his symptoms. The bottle states to shake well before using, when I dispensed the product into my hand it was an airy foam with a pleasant, not medicinal, scent. Jasper was initially suspicious of the foam but once I began to massage it into his fur he seemed to enjoy the treatment. The foam dried quickly, less than 10 minutes and once it was fully dry I brushed Jasper's coat. His fur was shiny and he smelled great and most importantly it seems to have done the trick with his irritated skin.
