Not standard size for a crate
I’m bummed this was delivered to me and of May. It shows these crate mats are a standard size to fit. I measured my crate which is around 23inches long. So with this 22in May it should fit right? Nope the width is not standard for a crate that is 22 inches. The actual mat is only about 21 inches and just over 11 inches wide. My crate is 22inches and 16 inches wide. So careful when ordering . I thought by the length it would have fit. Not even close
Cute little bed!
It's just as pictured. The base is fairly thin and flat, and the sides are plushy. If you want a thicker bed, this might not be it due to the flatter bottom. It's otherwise quite soft and all in all a very cute bed. I wouldn't recommend it for a dog that tends to chew bedding.
Textured fabric
This is super cute and made well. However, my puppy seems to dislike the texture of the pattern. She spends her time scratching at the material and rarely lies down on it. If she wasn't bothered by the fabric, I'd think it was great. I don't know if texture is a thing with dogs, but it is with my 18 week old Havanese.
Fits Well, Not Too Cushy
Fits perfectly in my Petmate Medium carrier, but the bottom part of this mat is not very padded. The bolsters are very firm though. I might end up putting an additional blanket in there for my cat on long rides. It has a cute color and texture that look nice with the blue carrier.
Things are not what they used to be-pre covid
First of all this mat was originally priced over $30. It was on sale even-not really worth the sale price. It is much smaller than the crate measurement it is supposed to fit. It was also to have a much thicker bolster, which it does not. If I had purchased in store, I would have returned it
Great for fosters
I got this for my fosters in their kennel. I usually foster puppies, so we wash their beds quite a bit at first but still need a comfy bed for their kennel. This has been through the wash at least once every few days since I got it and it’s held up well! My recent litters have dug at it and lightly chewed on it, and the bed doesn’t show much wear
Lasted just five minutes!
I don't usually leave poor reviews but while super cute, this lasted all of five minutes with my mini labradoodle. She's had several crate mats and never torn one up before, so I'm pretty disappointed. I gave it two stars because it is very soft, lightweight, and washable. It would be great for a dog that doesn't chew or scratch.
Soft, Comfy & Stylish
I got this bed for my cat who loves it. I got it to replace her always wanting to lay on something whether it was paper, clothing & other things like that. She use to have other beds but never really used them. This one she has used every single night since it came in and hasnt gone to anything else. She is in love and it makes me happy she enjoys it. I did add one of her favorite shirts to get her to lay on it to which I believe helped her out too, which will be removing shortly once she gets use to it. I also got the 30 inch which is perfect size for her and more.
