The herbal attraction scent actually appeals to our cats

The walnut shell litter is harder than the Frisco grass litter and the Wheat Scoop litter that I mix together. The harder texture helps scrape wet litter off of

The walnut shell litter is harder than the Frisco grass litter and the Wheat Scoop litter that I mix together. The harder texture helps scrape wet litter off of the litter pan. The mixture of the 3 clumps well. The walnut decreases the ammonia odor better than the grass or wheat litter. I change the proportions of the litters depending on the humidity in the house and out on the cateo to provide the best clumping. This is the first time I've tried the Herbal Attraction Walnut litter. Maybelle always inspects my litter box maintenance duties. She sniffed the herbal scent in her favorite box, then immediately did her business.

Mixed feelings

This type of litter although less dust is produced, has a ton of mess that is scattered by my cats. It also doesn’t help that the litter is dark - the color of poo,

This type of litter although less dust is produced, has a ton of mess that is scattered by my cats. It also doesn’t help that the litter is dark - the color of poo, so I never know if it is tag-a-long poops from the paws or tail, or bits of litter that seem to make a trail from the litter box room through my kitchen and then scattered bits of litter throughout the rest of the house. Needless to say, this is not the right litter for us - but may be for some other person owned by cat(s) hence my neutral 3 star review

Not Effective

My cat is pretty picky about her litter boxes, and this had no effect on her compared to Dr. Elsey’s. I’ve had to mix Dr. Elsey’s in to try to use it up.

Love this litter

We have been using this litter for a couple of years now and it has been the best natural litter by far, and we have tried many of them over the past twenty years
