Naturally Fresh Quick Clumping Unscented Cat Litter, 40-lb bag

Not totally a fan of this litter. but I'm ordering a second bag. My cat likes her itter deep so she can really dig around and "cover" her business well. Pros: Natural shell product, good odor control Cons: Poor clumping I feel that the box needs to be changed more often because the urine sifts through the scoop remaining in the box. Tracking...lots of tracking. This is my least favorite thing about this litter. Bella has learned to track a less litter as she adjusted to the new brand. The Welcome Mat outside the litter box has helped a lot with the litter tracking problem. One more bag and a final decision will be made on this product. Bella loves being a cat, she climbs trees, hunts mice, birds, insects and always brings them in to show us. She wants to be in the middle of a project, takes walks with me and is a very picky eater.

Maybe ergo friendly but not good enough

It always seems like when you transition to a different cat litter, things are great, but once you realize that it's only the cat litter that you purchased, it is a different story. This stuff may eco-friendly (and that is why I bought it), but the dust, tracking, and odor control is pathetic. Hope they get this review. Because somebody needs to step up to the plate. If you want to do something right, walk the talk and do it. And that goes for ALL the cat litter I have used. I.e. clay and corn. Stop robbing the consumer of their hard earned money!!!

Large multicat rescue situation. Has a coffee smell. Does turn bedding brown but washes out. Some tracking but I haven’t found a litter that doesn’t track. Much better than sand everywhere. Not harmful for the cats or the environment. Change litter ever 2 weeks. As long as I scoop daily, the odor control is good. Particularly good on urine odor. I find the clumping to be good. Not scooping rock solid clumps. Affordable in 40 pound bag. Can be mixed with filler like cracked corn or chicken feed and still clumps.

Walnut litter

Cats had no problem transitioning to it immediately. Dont shake the scoop to violently and it will work great as promised and it hardly shows at all on the dark hardwood floors. I fixed one pan mixed with old sawdust litter and one new pan of just walnut litter..cats used both immediately so guess they the boss!!

Not 'clumping' but smells amazing

Two stars for the lovely new smell and zero to 5% tracking. But quick-clumping - not even one star worthy. Did not clump. I went to scoop it out and it just broke apart. Maybe it clumps, until you go to scoop. Really sad, because good use for walnut shells and almost zero tracking. But the smell gets a little not so fresh because you can't scoop out the urine. Not Clumping. If they added something to actually clump, I would buy again.

Perfect Product

This litter is amazing. You CANNOT scoop it as soon as the cats go, otherwise it will sift thru. It takes a few moments for the urine to clump, but once clumped, it stays tightly formed like a little rock. The odor control is the very, very best I have ever used. I have two large cats and the box needs cleaned daily. Obviously things happen and we can't get to it every day. Those times though, are when this litter shines! It also lasts a loooong time before you have to dump and refill the box, which is even more cost effective.

best cat litter hands down

Ive been doing cat rescue for almost a decade, so litter is something i take seriously lol. I've tried every litter out there and naturally fresh quick clump is the best. No gross residues like clay litters, no nauseating toxic perfumes/fragrances, no clouds of dust. Easy to scoop, excellent odor control, made from a sustainable source and excellent value for the 40lb bags.

Brown Covered Paws

It smells a bit sweet, so that helps with the odor. I don't mind the scent, but it can be overwhelming in a smaller space. The tracking is so-so, but the amount of powder is absolutely insane. Whenever my cats leave the box, we know because they walk around with light brown mittens rather than white. The clumping is pretty great though. I am a gentler scooper but didn't have any breaks. Unsure about the clumping for a more quick or aggressive scooper.

Good filler. Much lighter than clay filler. keeps the smell. does not spread throughout the apartment.

I like this litter

I switched to this litter because it is natural and is not harmful for cat's and our lungs. It may not clump well if it is cleaned right away after cat used it, but if it will stay for awhile, it clumps pretty good. It has some dust which I don't like, but I like it doesn't cement anybodies lungs or courses cancer. I use it for years. It is, because of brown color, almost not visible on our carpets. I wish manufacture would make recyclable package, that would make me completely happy. My cat likes it as well.
