    so far so good!

    By tv62442 on Jan 3, 2022

I was having such a hard time finding the right food for my dog. I tried sensitive stomach formulas, cutting out chicken, grain-free. But his poop continued to be mushy. I gave this a try and instantly noticed an improvement in color and texture of his poop. It’s also a plus that the bag goes a long way! Tips: 1) dont just use “warm water” as the bag says. Use hot water (not boiling but hot enough for coffee or tea). It’ll cool down because it needs to sit to rehydrate the food 2) the instructions say to let it sit for 10 mins, but I suggest letting it sit for a few extra mins to really let the food soften up. I’ve noticed he still has full chunks of the veggies in his poop so I figured I was having such a hard time finding the right food for my dog. Shih-Tzu Loves It!

By Meaghan on Dec 24, 2021

Scotty, my shih-tzu, is constantly licking and scratching himself. We bought him the best kibble we could find and it still didn’t help. He would eat it but he didn’t get excited about it. Then I found this freeze-dried food and it has been a game changer! He can’t wait to eat his food in the morning and I can’t make his dinner fast enough when I get home from work. It actually smells delicious. Its even better if you use warm water. I boil some water from the kettle, mix it with the food, then let it sit for a few minutes to cool and it absorbs much better and I think my dog likes his food warm. He also has reduced the amount of licking and scratching he does to a normal level. I would definitely Scotty, my shih-tzu, is constantly licking and scratching himself. He’s not impressed.

By Renee on Jan 12, 2022

I think it looks and smells amazing. Seriously. If I’m lost in the wilderness, I’d eat it. LOL. The dog however, thinks otherwise. So having to mix small amounts with his other foods so it doesn’t go to waste.

don't use their directions for mixing

By Judy on Nov 28, 2021

I used this as a topper and my 4 dogs loved it. I then decided to make it their meal and it was a disaster. I carefully followed the directions on the bag - even set the timer for the recommended 10 minutes. It was still soup at the end of the time. None of my dogs touched it. Tonight, I will go back to using it as a topper.

    Mostly Powder

By Joany on Jan 11, 2022

I was very disappointed that most of the food in the bag was powder. There was very little food that was not powder.
