*DAILY FEEDING GUIDE: Feed 1 portion daily or 1/2 portion twice daily. ADJUST THICKNESS: Simply Raw should always be mixed with water. Decrease proportion of water to a 1:1 ration to achieve a thicker stew, or add more water to achieve deired consistency. *These are quantitiy suggestions; the amount you feed your pet can vary, depending greatly on the breed, activity level, metabolism and your preferences. |*Pregnant and nursing females' consumption may vary during gestation and may double during lactation/the last three weeks of pregnancy. It is recommended free choice feeding for pregnant and nursing females to maintain optimal body condition.
Start by mixing 25% new food with 75% of the current formula. Slowly change the proportions over the next 3 days or so by gradually increasing the new food and lessening the amount of the current food. At the end of the weaning process, you should be feeding 100% of the new food.

33% approval rating by my pups. They are typically garbage disposals and rarely turn down anything. The product looks nothing like the photos. It turns into a consistency similar to creme of wheat. Largely powder with occasional pieces of meat. Save your time and money and go with a tried and true freeze dried dog food company
My 10 lbs maltipoo practically inhales this food, then spends the next minute licking the bowl to make sure every trace of it is gone! She's been on this diet for about a month now, and at first, the food gave her runny stool, but I expected this whenever I transition her food to something new and made sure I stuck with it for at least 2 weeks. Sure enough, after about 7-8 days, her stool became much more solid and easy to pick up. I'm still experimenting on how much to give her because she seems to be gaining weight a bit. I plan to reduce the amount a bit and monitor for the next couple weeks. A side effect so far is that she has more stool, but thankfully it is all solid. Also note that this food smells a bit "herbal", or if you are familiar with the smell of Chinese medicine, this food reminds me a bit of that.
I got this to cut down on cooler space as I drive across the country and now use it often at home. My dogs eat raw food every day, and this is a great solution. While camping, I just add this and water to a small tub, and it's ready for the next 2 meals. No refrigeration needed. They LOVE it: from their reactions, they like it even better than fresh liver, heart or gizzards. It's convenient at home, too when I've forgotten to thaw their raw meat.
I have two Australian Cattle dogs. They both LOVE this food. One of my dogs has some skin and gut issues, other foods upset his stomach. This food has not only improved his tummy issues but his skin and coat as well. Super happy dog mommy here!
Totally a waste of money, as soon as I open the bag I knew they would not eat it because it smelled like a product that I used before under a different name , Ben and Charlie's or something like that, The dogs would not eat that either.
My miniature achnauzer WILL NOT TAKE 1 BITE of this dogfood! This is the LAST time I will order ANYTHING I haven't tried!! I have a full $30 bag of food to give away.
I have four dogs two of them love it one kid take it or leave it the other one will not eat it at all except the little chunks of me but self the spices in it I believe have too much cinnamon or whatever it is it has a strong odor once it’s wet and I think that’s what turns my one dog off of it but for two of my dogs I would say five stars but I can’t give you that because one is OK with it and the other one will not touch it except for the little chunks and there is a lot of powder in there and I don’t know why
Holy grail! The ingredients are amazing & I recently discovered dogs obsessively lick their paws when they have a yeast issue in their gut. I purchased this immediately & have already noticed a difference in her licking her paws. My favorite way to make it is to prepare it an hour in advance or overnight to allow the meal to turn into a stew
First of all, do NOT be deterred by this rating. Instead, read the ingredients! Look, for those that say the food “looks disgusting,” who freaking cares what it looks like! Besides, most canned food looks disgusting. Tripett, which I swear by as a supplement, both looks AND smells absolutely disgusting. Bottom line with anything I feed my dogs: INGREDIENTS. It has to be good for them… the very best quality. Their health is far more important than what I think the food *looks* or smells like!!! What a ridiculous comment. I would never skimp on the best for my dogs’ health to appease my own senses. I gradually transitioned my senior German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois to this food. At first they weren’t too sure about it, so I used low sodium beef broth as half the liquid and topped it with chopped beef. I did this for the first few weeks, and now They’re hooked. Best of all, it has made a huge difference in their vitality, stools, and coats! Because my dogs are older (the GSD is going on 15, and the BelMal is almost 12,) I want to keep them as healthy as possible, and switching to raw is definitely the way to go. So glad I was patient enough to make the switch to this food!
So it smells like Ramen to start off with which I wasn't a fan of. Turns out neither is my dog. She's been eating anything and everything lately but this she will only eat the meat Chunks and throws out what I'm assuming is bananas? Lol I'm not sure but I wouldn't recommend it.
