The Necoichi Tilted Stress Free Raised Cat Food Bowl helps take the stress out of mealtime! This innovative bowl is tilted, allowing your feline friend to dine in comfort. The tilted lip helps reduce neck fatigue as your kitty eats and the anti-spill lip combined with the bowl shape helps keep her food centered. That means, she will be able to get the last bite with less stress! And since this bowl has a wide lip, it’s purr-fect for flat-faced felines and it can help reduce whisker fatigue.

I recently bought my second Necoichi Tilted Bowl after my first one shattered into pieces from being tipped on its side on my counter. I figured I must've done something wrong but I always tried to handle it carefully when washing, drying and handling. We received the second one a couple weeks ago and I've been especially careful with it, but discovered a fracture on the bottom bowl this morning. I'm not sure how much longer this one will stay together. My cat seems to love the bowl and it really is a nice looking bowl. But I am not going to replace again and I can't recommend this based on my experience with the fragility.
This is BIG, but not room inside. I put water in it and there was water all over the floor. So I use it for food. I put a little food in it, and that works. My main complaint is it takes up a lot of room, and has no room inside the bowl. I liked the bottom of it, because you could clean inside, but the rubber came off. I put it back on. It came off again. I wish I had a place to put this bowl. It is tipped forward so of course the water will come out.
Must Have! Ordered this for my tallest, largest boy after he recently took a big fall. I noticed him having trouble getting to the normal sized bowl. The taller and tilted bowl has made a huge difference. Eating is no longer painful. Will continue using this product and will purchase more for my other cats. Would definitely recommend this product to others, especially for tall cats.
My cats took right to using this bowl and so far no one has thrown up any of their dry food. It's easy to clean and holds a good amount of food in it. I am very happy with this bowl.
The bowls are beautiful and very well made. But my 2 cats hate them. They take a few bites, then stop and shake their heads. They seem to get food on their whiskers and they need to stop eating and shake it off after a few bites. After a few days I just stop using them because they just won't eat from them. We're back to using two of my old soup dishes. It's just cat preference, I guess. I'm sure some cats would love them. My main goal was to give them elevated feeding dishes. Maybe I could just place a brick under the soup dishes.
Bowls are expensive, so I just have two. They ate a little bit of a headache to wash all the time. The little plastic gasket on the bottom edge keeps slipping off. My little Tonkinese is a gobbler and this seems to help her wet food from coming back up. She often sits when eating, so I guess it also works for sitting cats. I also worry about breakage, since the whole thing is awkward to hold and slippery when wet.
Since purchasing this bowl, Kitty's more than bi-weekly vomiting habit has tapered off significantly. She's so much more comfortable eating and the bowl and matching plate and water bowl are adorbable besides!
I have 4 kitties and I bought one for each of them, then I bought my daughters cat one for Christmas! They are very classy, sturdy & nice looking! All the kitties love them too.
My husband and I have a geriatric blind cat that was not staying at the food bowl for as long as he used to. We would occasionally hear creaking in his hind end and he stopped scaling the cat tree. After a trip to the vet we started him on a joint supplement and looked into getting an elevated feeder. We liked the tilted feeder but it was on back order at the time so we went to a major pet store chain and bought one of theirs. It helped a little but we ordered this one as soon as it was back in stock. His whole stance changed with using the elevated feeder as you will see in attached the pictures. He is eating much better now with just this simple change and the joint supplement. He seems to prefer this feeder over the pet store bowl. Being blind there are certain situations he is uncomfortable with and we think the wide shallow bowl on this one is less constricting for him since he does not have to shove his face and whiskers into a deeper bowl and his wet food does not get as mashed down on the bottom. The rubbery removable rim on the bottom is great for our tile floors. We probably would have purchased the elevated water bowl from too but he shares and automatic water bowl with our dog and we did not want get rid of it so we just found a way to elevate our current set up.
A little pricey-but... nothing is too good for the kids!!! also bought the Frisko elevated bowl- MUCH cheaper and somewhat better in that the cats do not spill as much on the floor. Feeding three cats- thus three bowls.
