I gave this crate two stars because it's the size I need and I like the style. That's the only good thing I can say about it. The material and overall quality is cheap. It arrived all scratched up. I also had to glue one of corners of the top because it came apart in my hand. I'm keeping it only because I need it and returning it would be a hassle I don't have time for. However, for the price paid, this crate is sorely lacking. I'm very disappointed.
Love the crate/end table. Easy to assemble and keep clean. My dogs have plenty of room and they really like to be in their own space. I leave the door open so they can come and go. I have one crate on each side of my couch and they look great. Best price on line with no delivery cost.
Works great for my pups!
I ordered two of these kennels in Large for my already kennel trained dogs and I love them. Lena paws at her kennel when she wants let out and they have held up great! I do feel like the materials they are made out of is cheap but they definitely work for my pups! Highly recommend getting this kennel if your dog is already kennel trained and not destructive in the kennel!
Gorgeous and serves a purpose
I can't get over how pretty this is.. I have a Pomeranian who acts like a newborn wanting out every 2 hours.. I did this for many years but recently got the shock of my life finding out I was pregnant.. So I'm trying to train her 4 to 5 hours in here and this thing is working so well.. She seems comfortable in it.. and it goes with decor nicely.. The only thing I could probably knock it on, Is the latch is just so small..if it's dark It's kind of hard to fiddle with and find..
Help me help my huskey
Well that was a waste my dog broke that kennel in 15 seconds I need recommendations hes a husky who destroys everything I need a kennel to contain him and maybe something to make him pass out so he doesn't freak out
Doesn’t stay together and breaks easily
This crate is literally garbage I’ve had it 2 weeks over a year 6 months in the side panel snapped. And now the door has completely broken off as the hinge on the bottom broke. It’s poorly made and the pieces that hold it together are just plastic that if your dog moves slightly will pop the pieces out You will be constantly putting it back together Also chewy won’t help me or replace it or replace parts because I’m two weeks past the warranty Such is life, don’t recommend the crate for a bigger dog unless super calm
the first one that came in the mail was broken so they sent me another one I thought it was wood & sturdy but it's not it is plastic and flimsy and has 8 plastic screws to hold the whole thing together , 0/10 ... I would not recommend to anyone.
For crate trained dogs only
I would recommend this only if your dog has been crate trained and does not normally try to get out of the crate. It looks nice and is sturdy, as far as an end table. As for a crate, it's not sturdy enough to keep a dog in, especially a determined or aggressive dog. My dog has grown up staying in a crate when we are out so doesn't attempt to get out but I don't doubt that he could if he wanted. The standard wire type would work best to ensure the dog cannot escape. I like that this can be in our living area and fits in with the furniture.
Broke after one use. Awful crate.
Dog was crated for 3 hours before he broke the gate and is now not functional. The crate is constructed of VERY thin/flimsy plastic and if your dog sneezes while inside, it will fall apart. If I had a stuffed animal that I needed to contain, I still would not buy this horrible product again. I cannot say enough bad things and should have listened to the reviews.
Too closed in?
Had we started our 1 year 4 mo. dog in this sort of crate, it might have worked, but we tried to move her from a too large wire crate to this and she is not happy. Won't even go in to pick up a treat. I physically put her in the first night. She didn't cry and spent the night there, but this morning still refused to go inside when I had to go out for an errand.
