Old Mother Hubbard ingredients are primarily sourced from North America. WellPet has one of the most strict sourcing criteria of any pet food manufacturer. All ingredients suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. WellPet do source their Green Tea Extract and Mixed Tochopherals from China. They feel that they have the appropriate quality programs in place at all their vendor locations and feel safe and secure with all the ingredients they source, whether they are sourced locally or globally.

I thought it was a good brand

I have been buying these treats for a while as well as the wellness foods for my pets. But I won't buy it anymore! These treats had worms and bugs in it!! I hate

I have been buying these treats for a while as well as the wellness foods for my pets. But I won't buy it anymore! These treats had worms and bugs in it!! I hate to say it but when I opened the bag, I just stuck my hand in it, like I usually do to grab a handful before we walk the dogs. I'm so disgusted and grossed out! So once I realized there were bugs, I opened another bag that I had. This time I looked inside and sure enough, AGAIN bugs and worms!! The bags each had a different expiration date. This tells me this wellness company doesn't care a thing about making sure pet food or treats are safe! I thank chewy for the refund on these treats and hope they will contact the company themselves about this. I have also contacted the wellness company but have heard nothing back. Buyer beware!
