Do you leave in all 3 layers or put in 1 at time

This product contains 3 layers of scratch pads. Once the top layer is overused, pull top layer off to make bed new again.

I see that you have the length of the bottom of the bed, but not the width. Not the total width, but the width of the BOTTOM of the box. Looks pretty small in the video, and my cats are not small.

The width of the base of the Ripple Board Scratch ‘n Massage Cat Bed is approximately 16 inches at it’s widest point.

Does this come already assembled right out of the box? Or does it require assembly

I was excited as this cat scratcher got a recommendation from NYT Wirecutter. It arrived partly crushed by being packed with a case of canned food. It was also a loosely constructed box, just sloppy. We had to reinforce it with another piece of cardboard. Now it’s okay and the cat likes it.

Great idea, flimsy cardboard

I really like the design and shape of this scratcher pad/bed. And the chin scratcher is a useful feature. But for $25 I was surprised at how thin the cardboard

I really like the design and shape of this scratcher pad/bed. And the chin scratcher is a useful feature. But for $25 I was surprised at how thin the cardboard is considering scratcher pads I buy are under $10 and are at least an inch thick. The outer black cardboard is extremely thin and I had to push it back into shape when it arrived. The bedding is 3 very thin sheets. I assume I’m supposed to swap their order as it gets used up but it’s so thin and smooth that my cat doesn’t recognize it as a scratcher pad. I was expecting the thickness of at least a shipping box but this is only a bit thicker than a cereal box.

First of all, whoever designed this thought about everything, a cat would need the cardboard they love and the little ridges in it massage them andon top of that it’s infused with catnip they’re sturdy and they also have a little scooped out area with a plastic comb, and that is chin scratching area And the way they’re sloped in is super comfortable for the cat. They love it.

Not better than the box it came in

Not worth $26, it’s basically just half a cardboard box where save your money and let your cat sleep in a box. Because it’s flimsy it came broken.
