Quality has dropped off a cliff

I’ve always bought these bowls even back when the brand was called Durabolz. The ones I bought in 2021 felt lighter but the design was slightly different with new

I’ve always bought these bowls even back when the brand was called Durabolz. The ones I bought in 2021 felt lighter but the design was slightly different with new anti slip so I thought nothing of it. I got a new set of bowls this week and my goodness I thought I might bend them just washing them. Another reviewer also pointed out how cheap and flimsy they feel now and I agree, I will likely need to return these they have no heft and you can pop the bottom up and down because it’s so thin. You can see in the photos the bowls are now half the weight they used to be many years ago but they are nearly 30% lighter than they were just a couple years ago.

I was surprised to find how hard it was to carry the dish from the sink to the feeding area without spilling. But I didn't actually measure it until just now. The

I was surprised to find how hard it was to carry the dish from the sink to the feeding area without spilling. But I didn't actually measure it until just now. The website claims it's 6.4 inch in diameter and 1.31 inch deep. NOT TRUE. The diameter is as stated, but when I measure how high the rim is above the surface the dish is resting on, it's only 1.09 (1-3/32) inch! I'll be contacting Chewy to see whether a return/replacement is still possible.

These dishes have been in constant use for years. We use them for wet cat food. In the dishwasher they go, usually top rack, sometimes bottom. They come out clean

They hold the 3oz can of cat food alright but my cat makes huge mess with it because it is too close to the rim for he watery food.
