Large hedgehog

Our little 6 pound teacup poodle had one of your tiny hedgehogs for three years and finally it was completely falling apart. So then we went on your site and the first one that came up was the hedgehog so I didn't look at the measurements and ordered it and when it came it's bigger than our teacup poodle! lol We decided to keep him because of the deep noise he makes when you squeeze him.

Cute but not durable

First, I found the hedgehog in my food delivery box. I was excited because the toy was so cute. I love squeaky toys and had it squeaking for maybe five minutes total. The furry material was too thin, so I was able to chew through it right away. I had it chewed open in no time. I could sense my mom was not happy that I had stuffing all over the floor.

Dogs’ favorite

Not sure if it’s the sound or shape or what, but two of our dogs who normally shred toys in minutes treat these hedgehogs like precious babies. They play with them gently, love to fetch them, and generally carry them around the house. Sound is slightly less annoying than a standard squeaker, lol. Dogs are 65 pounds and 12 pounds, both love the large version.

Dog loved it and wouldn't put it down but within a 1/2 hour of having it the first hole appeared and the nose was ripped open. took the squeaker out and sewed him up and it took another hour and he had legs off of it. He still likes carrying around the shell of the toy without the stuffing.

No longevity

Purchased in size M for a 4 mo. old goldendoodle and he absolutely loved it and instantly became his favorite squeezer toy. It has a standard squeaker and another that sounds more like a pig oink, however exactly 1 week after receiving this toy the sound that my dog loved hearing does not work only leaving the squeaker and he has lost interest in it. Save your money and purchase another item that is more reliable.

This is the best toy that I have purchased through Chewy so far. It stated in the specs that only the large and Xlarge version had the grunting noise but the medium one I purchased squeaked and grunted. It is the cutest. Cookie adores her new hedgehog.

Not as durable as the Kong cozie line but my pups love the surprising grunt noise in addition to the squeaker. They use as toy and pillow! They get a new one every birthday (by then the nose is normally chewed off or the critter is disemboweled).

Our Lucy LOVES her squeaky, stuffed toys, but she can be rough with them. She found the squeaky feet right away, but it took her a bit to get it to grunt. Watching her figure out how to make it grunt on her own was fun. She takes it all over the house with her and often uses it as a pillow.

Our puppy is 8 months old, and I took a chance on getting this Hedgehog toy for him. He ate the nose off the first day. The hedgehog as a super cute honk or squeak that’s different than most so it was hilarious watching our dog play with him. I am going to try to mend this one and see if he can’t yet be saved for another day.

This is my pup's favorite toy. She carries it around and squeaks it while playing and she sucks on it when she goes sleeps. She has had it 2 weeks and it is holding up better than other plush toys. She usually destroys plush toys in less that a day but she hasn't played with this one the same. At $4.99 its very affordable so I will be ordering more to make sure she keeps her favorite.
