Does the medium hedgehog (ie: 9", was large) have grunt or squeeky sound?

A squeaker is built into the Small and Medium Hedgehogz, but in sizes Large to Extra-Large, there’s a grunting squeaker and jingle ball for added fun.

I am interested in possibly buying a stuffed hedgehog for a Golden Retriever. What size would you recommend?

Breeds like Golden Retrievers can vary in size, which makes it hard to predict what the best size for each breed would be. We recommend measuring your dog's snout, or current toys that they enjoy and comparing those to the dimensions of the 4 different hedgehog sizes.

Super dangerous (unnecessarily)

My pup enjoyed this hedgehog for a short while before destroying it (death by squeaker removal) but what was highly concerning were the multiple plastics parts ranging

My pup enjoyed this hedgehog for a short while before destroying it (death by squeaker removal) but what was highly concerning were the multiple plastics parts ranging from a long expandable tube, to a small button and a plastic bag, filled with more plastic. This, having 2 plastic zip ties around it. This is beyond plastic overkill - and - extremely dangerous. There are SO many ways to make safe and sustainable toys - this is not one of them. Would NOT recommend for any living creature. It would be awesome if Chewy started to vet the toys, and to put restrictions on the products they sell. It would further their commitment to providing high quality toys they not only standby, but products they want to promote based on their minimal environmental impacts, material choice and high quality.

Adorable toy. Love the noise it makes. However it is poorly made. My doodle who is a medium chewer had this ripped open within 30 minutes. She has other toys over a year old that have lasted wonderfully (Miranda lamberts mutt nation brand). This hedgehog does not have quality construction. I would not suggest it. The parts inside the hedgehog are choke hazard.

A Quick Kill (again)

My Mom won’t be buying any more of this toy even though I really, really like it. I have about 8 of this toy. The main hedgehog squeaky and most of the foot squeakies

My Mom won’t be buying any more of this toy even though I really, really like it. I have about 8 of this toy. The main hedgehog squeaky and most of the foot squeakies are dead during the first 15-20 minutes of a supervised-play, session and each one has a been torn at a seam. Zero woofs for it as a tough chewer toy.

Dane Proof

Ok, not really Great Dane proof. But both dogs adore this toy! It squeaks, it snorts, it's fluffy. It's become the nap cuddle toy. Taking it away to put the Stuffing back inside leads to Great Dane cries. Giving it back causes zoomies. Would not recommend for long term play, but they live their friend.

This lasted all of 10 minutes. When I last saw it, it was turned inside out. No stuffing or squeaker left in it. If you've got a chewer, do not leave them alone

I bought this for my almost 1 year old Doberman because the description said it was durable “tough enough to withstand your pup’s chewing actions” and “ Crafted

I bought this for my almost 1 year old Doberman because the description said it was durable “tough enough to withstand your pup’s chewing actions” and “ Crafted with minimal seams to reduce tearing.” Unfortunately this was not true for my dog. However, he loved playing with it for the duration that he did just expect that it is an expendable toy for a short period of time. He has a stuffed moose toy I had bought at a local pet store that lasted since he has been an eight week old pup. I was trying to find an another similar toy to vary it up for him. I guess if your dog has teeth, expect it will be destroyed quickly.

While this toy looks great and has a variety of squeaks, the quality is not sufficient. The toy lasted <15 mins. I am used to Kong or Frisco toys and was quite disappointed in this durability for the same price. The felt “toes” are the first thing to go and definitely need some work. Also the overall fur was very thin and had a quarter sized hole.
