    a couple of concerns

    By on

First let me say that this is a nice toy, sturdy and well made. But I have a couple of concerns. Number One concern is the metal connecters, first thing my older cat jumped for the feather boa that was attached at the time and the metal connecters hit him in the mouth and I know it hurt because he ran and hid under the bed! I was afraid it broke a tooth or hit him in the eye, but it didn't. He would run and hide whenever I took it out for about a week. I put a piece of foam around the metal connecters to avoid that happening again. The other thing is not so much a concern as an observation that some might find useful- this wand is VERY LONG! When you attach the snakey-tail-thingy you literally need to stand up and have a hallway or large open space to accommodate the toy and the frantic cat antics. Other than these two things it is a great toy as long as you do not play too hard with it to avoid hurting the cat, it seems to be more of a floor chaser than an up in the air jumper. … more

My cat loves wand more than his human does

    By on

Tango bugs me all day long to make his 3 Feather Dual Rod Wand. His favorite feather was the tail-like one but now won't abide that one and gores crazy for the snake-like one. I put some Cheetah Duck tape at he tip of the wand part, because he kept stopping to look up at the clinking instead of chasing the feather part. I had a roll of Cheetah Duck tape lying around that exactly matches the snake-like feather. The only thing I don't like about it is the two wands don't stay together when used as one long wand. One goes flying off and I am worried it will eventually hurt my cat. As soon as I get to it, I will Gorilla Glue them together.

as long as you don't have a scaredy cat

    By on

This is basically a fishing pole with attachments but my youngest who I got this for decided to take off with it and the loud clanging of it behind him as he ran through the house terrified him and now when he sees it he runs and hides. It's a heavier pole which is great, but it has a lot of moving parts that make lots of noises. I wish my older cats enjoyed it but they are less interested in running around So if you don't have a scaredy cat like me, your cat will probably love this toy. Giving it a little while before we try it again.

    Fantastic three-part toy

    By on

I never thought my short-haired black cat, Sirius Black, would be so tempted and excited by a toy! As soon as I showed him the small feathers and then the long feathers, he went crazy! He's gotten so much exercise and has been jumping and playing for days! My husband had to explain to me that the two rods combine into one for the attachments and it made it so much easier to use for playtime! I would so recommend this to all my friends with cats!

One of the best toys yet!

    By on

She loves this toy! It comes with 3 different toys to attach ( you know in case they get bored). It is exceptionally long in length. It reminds me of fishing, if that makes any sense. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that at times it will come apart. The 2 metal pieces (which are very lightweight) are not held together except by pushing one inside the other. Throughout playtime I just remember to enforce that it’s in there tightly, otherwise I did have it come flying out on us! No one got hurt and nothing broke, it just surprised us!

Kitten is obsessed, older cat into it too

    By on

I haven't tried all of the ends yet because I put the pink feathers on and both cats love it. My kitten drags it around the house to find me and play. My older cat who doesn't chase much anymore is also into it. My only complaint is that the two halves of the rod come apart easily. I'm still searching for my hot glue gun to see if that will help.

    5 stars! Sturdy & FUN!

    By on

Our cats go WILD for the cheetah print snake and the long feather boa floats like a bird. I’m amazed at the quality of the poke, only came apart once when our cat furiously ran off with his prey. They play with it every night and it’s fun to have three different options. I want to buy this for all my cat parent friends!

    Exercise for your kitty

    By on

We have enjoyed using these to play with our cat. He gets very stimulated playing with them and it’s good exercise for him too. We plan to buy more attachments for the rod.

My cat loves the long cheetah print toy

    By on

I tried all 3 of the toys and my cat goes bananas over the cheetah print toy. I’ve had my cat for a little over 3 months, and she’s a bit under socialized (she’s a former hoarder house cat). It’s been a great exercise to get her to go into rooms where she’s afraid of being around people in. The cheetah tail helps keep her distance from me and have fun at the same time. I think this toy will really help her come out of her shell.

Sister Kitties love these soft fabrics and feathers

    By on

Our two little girls are 12 weeks and love these toys. As soon as they wake in the morning or after a nap they run to the play room and drag the wand to whomever will play with them!
