While this bird that flaps it wings is cute, the advertisements are false advertising. The videos show the box being opened and the bird fly's out of the box and the cat is chasing it. What they don't tell you, is you need to have a string to hang the bird from. The bird does not fly around. Other sites sell the same bird with a lanyard, but they charge a higher price. Our package did not have a lanyard or offer one.

Very disappointed. It's heavy and just sits on the floor flopping it's wings and chirping. My cats don't interact with it at all. They'll just look at it and not even run over to it. If in their hammocks, they'll wake up, not move, look at it for a second and go back to sleep. I was hoping it moved more. I'm sorry.

Does not work correctly

I charged it then turned it on and it did not work at first but then the wings flapped a little and then stopped. Not worth the money! So sad about this one!

Bella at first was intrigued. She smelled the toy and rubbed her face all over the soft plush covering, but once it chirped and flapped its wings she looked at it and realizing it wasn’t alive completely ignored it. Tried several times to re-engage her with it, but she’s not interested. She has more fun with a string on a pole or a paper bag and of course she loves cardboard boxes.

I was hoping for more action from a toy, similar to Teasy Tails. It lethargicly flaps its wings and chirps. My 1.5 yr old cat does like to go up and touch it & make it chirp and carry it around, my 4 yr old cat who is so into all things bird looked at it and walked away. She is unimpressed.

Great Toy-Finicky Cat

I thought these would be fun for my cats. But I was mistaken. The chirping is very loud and my cats are afraid of the bird. The bird doesn’t sit and the wings flapping cause it to fall over after setting it up on the floor. I’m very disappointed in this purchase and would like to return it.

Not worth the amount of money

Unfortunately, with the rave reviews, the cats did not find it pleasing nor were they predatory. Quite the opposite, the flapping & loud chirping bird had the advantage

Don’t waste your money

The bird does nothing but make sounds and flap wings. There’s nothing engaging about it. My cat was curious for 30 seconds and couldn’t care less afterwards.

Hermes, my cat, wasn't as thrilled about the flapping bird toy as my husband and I were. He is an older cat and a bit tired (has small cell lymphoma) yet, oddly, a real bird flew to our terrace right after the toy arrived and I am hopeful that Hermes will get more zest soon and play with this flapping bird. He really loves birds.
