Help keep your pal’s skin clean while soothing common skin conditions with the Pet MD Antiseptic & Antifungal Medicated Dog, Cat & Horse Shampoo. This skin-friendly shampoo deep cleans your pal’s skin and coat and works to deodorize and relieve fungal and bacterial skin infections like hot spots, ringworm, and acne, as well as superficial cuts, abrasions and insect bites. Because the formula is soap-free and paraben-free, it helps prevent irritation that can actually aggravate distressed skin. Thanks to the antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiseptic action of chlorhexidine and ketoconazole, it not only helps alleviate current skin problems, but helps prevent new ones by combatting harmful yeasts and bacteria. Plus, it helps dry and astringe the affected area to help speed up and support healing.

This product seems similar to the same type of shampoo that I have been purchasing from my family veterinarian, though the shampoo doesn't seem to be as thick as what I normally purchase and the label on the bottle doesn't stay on very well. It does seem to work well and is much cheaper than what I am used to paying. I would highly recommend trying this product.
This helped clean our dogs up and they weren't itching as much. Smelled pleasant and good price for something that seems to have helped our dogs.
This shampoo is the same thing as I get from the vet's office, but it is different brand. I compared the vet's prescribed bottle and it has the same medical ingredients, it looks the same and smells the same. Two of my dogs have allergies, and this shampoo helps their itching. Glad I ordered.
My dog has sensitive skin allergies and gets scabby, red, itchy irritated spots mostly on her belly. I had tried the skin spray for hot spots in the same brand that worked really well so decided to try the shampoo. It smelled nice, lathered well and made my dogs skin really nice. It’s been two weeks since I bathed her with it and no spots. Left her coat nice too. Some of these shampoos are really drying or smell medicated but this was great. Will definitely continue to use.
My dog's skin is much improved after using this shampoo. I'm really pleased with the result.
Love this shampoo for my small maltipoos- one has chronically itchy skin and he feels so much better after using this. Smells great!
My poor dog has allergies that cause her to itch and lick. This has helped and the smell is pleasant. Her coat is so much better and it’s gentle enough to use frequently to get that doggy smell under control.
used for mites and itching this shamooo kills pests and helps witk itchy skin
I used this for the 1st time on my dog that has itchy skin / hot spots. I was please with how well it lathered up and ease of use. I think it gave her some relief and helped her hot spots too.
My dog has developed yeast problems in his later years, and it has been such a struggle. I tried very hard to treat him with natural products, but it was a losing battle. When it was clear I couldn’t handle it myself, I took Bandit to the vet and one of the things she recommended was ketoconazole shampoo and lots of baths. The stuff I got from her was quite expensive, so I needed a cheaper alternative. This is it! It still costs more than the shampoo I use on my own hair, but it really keeps the yeast under control if used properly. You have to wet your dog and put on the shampoo and leave it on there for 10 minutes before rinsing. I also use chlorhexadine/ketaconazole foam mousse regularly. We are heading into his bad season again this year, I am eager to see if the protocol that includes this shampoo as the major item will keep the yeast at bay!!
