Not Sure, my girl passed away too soon to tell
I was only able to give this to my girl 1 time before she unfortunately died. Lymphoma took her life very quickly, days after we were told it was just kidney disease. We are going to use it on my other 2 senior kitties just to give them extra care. I just wish this one was the bacon flavored one. They hate the taste and refuse to eat it on their food.
So pleased with the results.
My cat is in advanced kidney disease, and this product plus the Alaskan Salmon oil have helped her immensely. She is more energized, her water intake has stabilized noticeably and she spends less time asleep. I feel they have lengthened her life in conjunction with her prescription cat food.
Would give 5 stars but unsure if it's working
I love the fact that it only takes a few drops for my kitty and the flavor she either likes or blends well enough in with her wet food for her not to notice. I'm not sure how well it's working because she has other issues and I haven't had any blood work done since starting giving her this. I also use the Life Gold and the more mushrooms and highly recommend this product for its natural way of helping our feline and canine companions!
Glad to Find TCM Kidney Formula Dosed for Cats
Foxy was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. I've gone to classes and used TCM, a rehmannia formula for my adrenals with success for 12 years but didn't know how to dose a cat so I was happy and relieved to see this formula. TCM doesn't have the side effects of western medicine and is very safe to use for long term use if it is a balanced formula like this. I put this in her Aqua Grill juice and she drinks it but she won't go back to the vet for follow-up for at least a month so I don't know how effective it is yet. She is taking meds for an overactive thyroid also and she looks like she's putting meat back on her bones.
Works well
I put my cat on this because her kidney values were above normal. I couldn't take her in to get her blood checked for her kidneys. But she is doing well. Started acting like a kitten, playing! I will keep buying this product!
This is very effective!!!
I have two cats that are 16yrs. and 5months old. In June my females blood work came back with high levels in her creatine and BUN. The vet recommended these kidney vitamins for her and her brother. I took her back for a follow-up appointment 4 months later in October, and her blood results showed that with the sub q fluids and vitamins her creatine was back in the normal range and her BUN isn't as high as it was. I would've given 5 stars, but if I give it to them right after they eat they throw it up. Other than that it works great! Will definitely continue to give to my fur babies and I also recommend this product to anyone with an animal with kidney problems.
Seems good for them
My dog has elevated kidney values and since giving her this it seems to have gone down a lot. Even more importantly she feels great and eats it without an issue.
My vet was impressed
After giving my cat Kidney Gold for 2 months, her BUN went from 108 to 41 and her PHOS from 7.5 to 5.7. (Pet Wellbeing advised it could be given along with Epakitin, dosing at different times.)
Kidney issues
So far my 9 yr old dog seems to be doing much better since taking this; urinating less and eating normally. Although pricey, I will purchase again
Works Great
My senior kitty was diagnosed with kidney disease over a year ago. She takes the recommended dose daily and has no problem taking it. She is still very active and healthy. I believe this product does what it says and contributes with other supplements to keep her functioning the way her body needs to.
