I’ve been in charge of bathing all our family pets basically my entire life. Some shampoos suck. This one does not. I love the scent (smells like sour watermelon to me). It doesn’t dry out her coat, seems hydrating on her wirey fur (she’s a merl so only part of her are like that). She’s soft and therefore I like it. It does take a moment to lather. If you’re looking for a super suddsey bubbly shampoo because you think that does the job, this isn’t for you. It suds just fine after about ten seconds and strips off all the nasty dirt and debris quite quickly. So I’ll say it if I haven’t already, this is my favorite doggy shampoo and I’ve tried dozens

I purchased because it has ingredients that are the same as the shampoo and medicated pads the vet gave us and since she's between vets right now I searched and came across this shampoo since she's been itching, and when it arrived I smelled it and was pleasantly surprised because it smelled absolutely yummy and not medicated at all, it helped with her itching and it also made her hair soft and you can still smell the scent days after her bath. I would highly recommend this product to other dog parents whose dogs have skin issues and allergies (not going with seasonal - her's are year round) it actually worked for my dog and also made her smile good and her coat is soft.

Our 11 year old dog developed skin allergies about a year ago. Countless vet visits, food substitutions, medications, and frequent baths later he was still suffering. Now takes an allergy shot and has developed seborrhea. Bathed him in prescription shampoo provided by vet and the next day he was actually much worse. I desperation, I ordered this shampoo and the medicated mousse. I saw immediate results. He still is experiencing out breaks but they are much more manageable. He is a sheepdog lab mix.

Great shampoo exactly what my dog needed. This brand has the same ingredients the brand I used on her before they discontinued it. My dog has a bad odor smell for a week and decided to take her to her vet and get her on antibiotics and they suggest that medication and shampoo should help. The shampoo really is a great product after bathing my dog the smell was no longer there. I will definitely buy more of this brand.

Ruby(Australian cattle)and I have tried shampoo, vitamins, apoquel, creams etc, you get the idea. I saw this chlorhexidine shampoo and thought it was worth a try. It’s an antibacterial, antifungal. After gently sudsing Ruby, I left the shampoo on for at least a good five minutes, before rinsing. Her coat is beautiful and it gave her amazing relief. This product was the best thing we have ever tried.

I purchased the Pet Honesty Chlorhexidine Antibacterial dog shampoo for my Lab mix, Gemma, after she was diagnosed with allergies this fall. At five years old this is something new we had to navigate and I was at a loss on how to keep her comfortable. After discussing with my vet, I decided to purchase this as it had chlorhexidine in it which I had been advised to use on red/raw areas of her skin. I used this on both of my dogs and it worked quickly. I noticed that after one use that Gemma's belly wasn't as warm or pink and her "itches" were improved as well.

Truthfully works and helps calm itching.

I purchased this for my parents dog that has a severe skin condition that causes him to itch constantly. His skin was red and irritated and whatever the condition

I purchased this for my parents dog that has a severe skin condition that causes him to itch constantly. His skin was red and irritated and whatever the condition is (vet calls it allergies but it's way more than that) was causing basically his whole body to be inflamed and for the poor guy to be uncomfortable. I used this product and a conditioner my Mom purchased to see if we can't get his skin healed some and his itching more manageable. It worked great. He is bathed weekly and this helped the itching for approx. 4 days. I am hopeful after a few more weekly baths that he'll have enough relief that he'll make it the full week between baths without being too itchy. I definitely recommend this product. I felt it was worth a try and am so glad I did because it's the best he's been in months.

Pleasant smelling

This did seem to ease some of the itching that my dogs were incurring but the relief was only for a few days. It is a pleasant smelling shampoo that I might try
