How do I order microban filter for my waterer?
Answer by sandoJun 02, 2022
You can order a 12 pack thru Chewy. Permate Pearl Replendish $10.99

Will it still work if you choose not to use the filter? I can't imagine why it wouldn't besides being a bit less sanitary but all my water is already filtered before I fill it and I clean the whole thing out pretty frequently anyways.
Answer by ChewyNov 13, 2017
This product will still function if you choose to remove the filter.

Does water spill when I flip the waterer to put on the floor?
Answer by ChewyJan 08, 2019
This waterer features a black lid that filters the water and will prevent the water from spilling when inverting the reservoir.

does this come with the water container or just the bowl? if NOT, where do I get the water container that fits the bowl?
Answer by ChewyApr 01, 2018
This product includes the bowl and water reservoir.

Worst I own

I keep trying new waterers for the slew of cats we have. This is the worst one I've tried. Can't get the stupid water jug off the base without practically breaking it. There is no way to tell when you've got it set right to pull off - the jug doesn't stop rotating when you are at the point you can take it off. So you just keep spinning it hoping you can get the tabs located "just right" to get the stupid thing off. Also, the little filter that goes in the screw top lid is useless. Water comes out the other holes in the lid rather than going through the filter. I left it in anyways, figured it couldn't hurt, and after about 4 days of use, found it floating at the top of the water in the jug. I've tested around 8 waterers, and this one is BY FAR the worst one I've used!

The best that I have found

Ok I have purchased a few (5) of those water fall type bowls my baby kitty would not go near it I know you thinking we let her get used to it, even my 2 year old would not attempt. No I have a litter robot and no problem with that anyway this is the best no overflowing and they drank from it day one. Thanks Chew

I hate it!

I bought this because my oldest dog is partially blind and could no longer see the black waterer we had. He can see this one but it doesn't put out water unless I shake it! I hate it!! I bought it so he would have water all day no matter what but I find myself having to shake it multiple times a day to get it to start filling the bowl! I do NOT recommend this at all.

Would not recommend.

Water does not continuously replenish as stated. For such a large size waterer, it only releases about a half inch of water at most. I have actually had to fill by hand and have had it run dry. Serious design flaw for sure. I purchased as extra waterer for the upstairs of my house for my 2 cats.

Not sturdy enough

The bottom should be much sturdier considering you're putting over 33 lbs of water on it, also it says that it's made so it won't spill while you're putting it on there but that is definitely not true it will spill. It is as large as it's supposed to be but the bottom is so weak that it's quite impossible to put the top one without breaking the little plastic pieces luckily it will still work without them apparently.

clean and fresh

This is my second purchased water dispenser. The reason is that the keg part got so cloudy from my hard water, however, I love and know that the charcoal filtering system is protecting my 5 cats. I'll use the other for backup when on vacation.

Water bowl does not work

I was so excited to get this water bowl because my dogs go through water like crazy. The water will drain to fill the bowl once and then nothing else comes out. We have checked the filter and everything I thought could be a problem and everything looks fine but it isn’t operating fine. Came home to my dogs bent over trying to lick water out an empty bowl.

Biggest water ever

Switched dog to food that makes him drink a lot more and he was going through his 1.5 gallon every other day just about. This 3 gallon one is ginormous, like great dane sized, but its lasting a lot longer. It is rather heavy when full so filling can be difficult but not impossible.

Filter falls off

The water filter will not stay on and ends up floating to the top of the water. It is gravity feed with out a valve, maybe I didn't read the description well, which makes hard for an older person like me to get it on the bowl without spoilling.

doesn’t function

The weight of the water doesn’t allow it to drain into the bowl bellow. The water container sits all the way down on the plastic bowl and nothing drains out. We have to leave it partially unscrewed to the basin and tilted for it to work. Then the dogs get frustrated and tip it over to get some water! I hate this thing! 0 stars!
