52 pound Belgian Shepard w/arthritis in rear knee and spine
By Aurora on Mar 31, 2021
I highly recommend this harness. I have an older 52 pound Belgian Shepard w/arthritis in her rear knee and spine. This harness is easy to put on, in my opinion, and she doesn't seem to mind the straps around her rear legs at all. I only use this for walks and when her rear legs have difficulty and she falls back I can easily grab the rear handle and hold her up, pull her up etc. This is extremely helpful going up stairs too. She is very excited about putting it on.

Poor design, heavy for medium dog
By Emma on Mar 6, 2021
My dog sometimes loses ability to use hind legs and this item was recommended. It's complicated but once it's set up properly that's not a big deal. However, it was hard to get it tight enough to work properly, there was metal that could rub the coat, it was too heavy to add that additional weight to a dog with mobility issues. The worst was that the instructions have you lift the dog's legs which is unrealistic for a dog with standing problems. I ended up making a quick lift device from a canvas grocery bag that worked better than this item.

Much needed for our old girl
By Mell on Feb 25, 2021
We waited a bit too long to fit her with the harness, and had to do it with her laying down, but it worked! Allowed us to assist our 130 pound geriatric Rottie until she lost all mobility. Will definitely keep on hand for our 75 pound mixed breed boy for when he needs it.

Didn't fit; connector too bulky
By Labs on Dec 8, 2020
My dog is a 65lb, average size labrador, but while the front section was too large, the rear section was too small to fit properly! If you have a dog with a bushy/thick coat, you'd probably need to size up. Also, the connector for the front and rear sections was too long and much too thick/heavy. We had hoped this harness would be comfortable for at least 1-2 hours of continuous wear in the evenings when our senior pup needs the most assistance, but I don't see how that is possible. It did help me lift my dog, and it was easier to put on than expected, but not easy enough that we could do it every time she needed assistance (and you can't put it on if they are already laying down!). very good harness
By JakeandMaggiesMom on Dec 7, 2020
My 13 year old 65lb boy started having trouble going up the stairs. This harness (medium) allows my husband and I to carry him up no problem. It is sturdy and made very well. We also used this harness in the large version with our first dog when he started having mobility issues. It is worth every penny.

Does not work right
By Madii on Nov 17, 2020
The harness’s leg straps do not lock in place, they constantly pop off. This was a very expensive harness for it to be this cheaply made. I didn’t even get to use it on my elderly dog on the 15 hour drive to help him up and down. Will be giving this away, maybe someone else can do better with it even without the leg support straps

Sizing off?
By Lisa on Oct 20, 2020
I bought a medium brace following the sizing instructions and it’s very big on my dog. I have adjusted all straps and it’s as small as it will go. According to the small, my dog is over the measurements. He’s currently unable to walk due to IVDD and I’m very disappointed this brace won’t work for him. Now I have to start search all over again to find a lift harness that will work for front and rear. This harness would’ve been perfect had it fit properly.

Works Great
By Capone on Nov 24, 2020
I have a 15 1/2 year old Pit Bull with arthritis in his front legs and bad hips . He also weighs 110lbs ( yeah, he is a bit over weight LoL) so before this harness it was a mission to get him up and down the stairs in my condo complex. This made it sooo much easier for both of us . I tried a few other harnesses and this is the only one that holds him in place and doesn't hurt him while i pick him up !!
