only 1 of my dogs drank from it with the water on or off - the other 3 wouldn't drink from it at all - water on or off - i gave to my friend - she has a lab-wouldn't drink from it-i tried my niece, she had already had one and her 3 dogs wouldn't drink from it on or off (the waterfall)

Best Lil Investment

I am beyond happy with this water fountain. I have a total of seven indoor cats ranging in age from 17 years to 1 year old. It has been a battle getting them drink enough water to stay healthy. Since we have had this all of them have increased their water intake. I cannot recommend this enough. Worth every penny!!!!

Worst flow control ever

This worked ok, for a few months. Then after about a year, the flow control won't work any more. Goes from no flow, to barely a trickle on max setting. Bought a new motor thinking that would fix it. Nope. The old one was way better. I had it for years. Hate this new design.

I loved it at first the water hit the ramp at first but not even a year into having it I already had to replace the motor and the water doesn’t hit the ramp so it’s so noisy. I even made sure to watch a video to make sure I was assembling it right and I was and it still didn’t take care of the water not hitting the ramp and it’s expensive so I don’t want to buy a new one

Lackluster for cats

I like how easily this comes apart for comprehensive cleaning but my cats REFUSE to use this fountain. They don't want to drink the falling water they want water that is in the bowl area but is fresh because of the fountain part, and this bowl is so small that they don't like wedging their heads in there. Product seems to be well made but still an absolute failure for this household.

Not worth it

We have had another fountain by the same brand for 6 years and love it, so we thought this would be good purchase for our senior cat whom we have to keep separate from the other two. Even liked that it had a sponge filter AND carbon filter. However, this fountain sucks. The filters do not do a good job and after a day or two there's a fine layer of carbon dust in the water. The fountain water gets freakishly foamy after 3 days! I'm constantly changing the carbon filter and breaking this thing down to scour it every 3 days. Speaking of breaking it down to clean: it has more parts than our giant 2 gallon fountain and all the little parts are so narrow and hard to clean well, even with a straw cleaner. This thing is not worth the time nor effort it takes to maintain it. Get another model of fountain! It's so much more

ok

Smaller fountains have better water flow, the charcoal filter turned the water black and left a black film on everything and the sides are too high for short legged pups. The cord is not all one piece and is very easy to disconnect. There is an adjustment to water flow but it’s a very little water flow to like no water flow.

Did not last

Have had the unit a little over a year and the motor has already burned out. Spent more time fixing the water flow than my fur babies did drinking out of it. Low sides allowed for major splashing (and we have smaller dogs) of water on the floor. Even with a filter change every month, the unit still required a lot of maintenance. Filter replacements are pricey as well. Not work the money spent.

The Best Ever

I bought this water bowl because I have three dogs and eight cats and it holds enough water to last them all day. I had a gravity flow water bowl and the flow feeder would get stuck, so they would be without water while I am work. This bowl has solved that problem.

Worked well for 6 months

Worked well for 6 months and since has been making a constant buzzing sound even when full of water.
