Would this work for my dog who barks in his kennel when I’m gone?

The PetSafe Ultrasonic Indoor Bark Control will work while you leave your pet at home. When setting up the device, make sure there are no obstacles between the dog and the device. Also, make sure that the speaker is less than 10 feet high and is facing the direction of the barking dog.

Does the tone continue until the barking stops or does it have a set length of time it continues before stopping?

When the microphone picks up the constant bark of the dog, it will emit a 2-second high-pitched ultrasonic tone. While the tone cannot be heard by humans, it should startle the dog. Most dogs will understand very quickly that the Indoor Bark Control is disrupting their urge to bark and will relax and stop barking.

Will this be safe to use around guinea pigs.

The ultrasonic noise may cause inadvertent distress to rabbits and rodent pets, such as guinea pigs and hamsters.

If we have a big house can we use more than one unit at a time since it’s a 25 foot radius? Thank you

Subtle but eventually effective.

Set it and forget it. Put it where the dog is doing problem barking, then wait a few days. Get it a litihium long life battery, it takes it a while to be effective
