Don’t leave them hanging out at night. I have lost many over the years to raccoons. You need the holder; the raccoons will steal that too. The only issue is getting

Don’t leave them hanging out at night. I have lost many over the years to raccoons. You need the holder; the raccoons will steal that too. The only issue is getting them out of the thick plastic container. I make a cut and pull a sharp knife down the side to slide them out. They last along time. It’s fun to watch the birds pecking away. I keep buying them.

The FruitBerry Nut classic seed log became an instant hit in my yard! It's hanging near several trees where birds tend to perch, and they will take turns flying onto the feeder. Black capped chickadees seem to be the biggest fans in my area, Central PA, though many other birds like Carolina wrens, white-breasted nuthatches, and cardinals also visit for a snack. The log is well-formed and holds together quite well as the birds whittle it down. The log has a perfectly sized hole down the middle to make refills a breeze to slide on to the feeder. The ingredients appear to be good quality whole seeds and nuts.

This product is very easy to use with the pine tree farms log bird tray. There is a long center in the food that allows you to pop it right into the stem of the tray stand. It's held together with gelatin. I do wish there was a plant based binder. The container it comes in is not the most eco friendly but it can be repurposed. Also not the most cost effective way to get bird food but it is very convenient for a quick and easy refill. I have not seen who is enjoying the seeds but someone definitely is!

The seed log is so easy and convenient to use with the log holder. Birds have easy-access -- but squirrels don't. Love watching wildlife from our deck. Only criticism

The seed log is so easy and convenient to use with the log holder. Birds have easy-access -- but squirrels don't. Love watching wildlife from our deck. Only criticism is reordering -- can't find on Chewy website under "bird seed." Search "seed log" instead. We'll be ordering this every month!
