how much to use for dogs under 10 pounds

Can this be used for 3 dogs of different sizes that free choice?

My dog's suggested dosage is 2 scoops per day. Since this product works systemically, is it better to feed the 2 scoops once per day or 1 scoop twice per day. Or does it make no difference?

How does this work? What does the kelp actually do?

The Supplement is ingested and works systemically. The natural compound in the product comes out through the saliva and works to break down the bacterial biofilm that forms on the teeth and gums.

I have been using this plaque off powder for over 3yrs now , ever since my elderly small dog had to have teeth pulled & has hard time chewing dental sticks . A friend told me about this powder & how her dog's teeth are very healthy . so I got a jar to try . I sprinkle on my dog's evening meals I have 3 large dogs & one small dog & I say about 2 months of giving this to all of them my dog's teeth & breath have much improved to the point my vet was very happy . It is not a miracle will not clear up hard plaque on dogs' teeth if they are bad & need a dental cleaning , but after the dental cleaning it has helped keep plaque off of their teeth , I will continue to feed to my dogs , and the dogs like it & doesn't smell fishy or salty like some other brands .

I have always been able to brush the teeth of any dog I have had...mostly poms and pom mixes. However, with my two current pom sweeties, one is an angel and let's me brush her teeth and my other pom who used to have teeth issues when I rescued him (and they have been taken care of) won't let me near his mouth no matter what. Anyway, long story short, I use this product on both of my dogs and thier teeth look nice and clean. Of course, the pom whose teeth I have brushed always look great but they do look brighter. I hestiated to believe the reviews but I based my decision on them and they were right. I still haven't figured how the product works but it seems to have worked well so far. I have ordered it twice now and am very happy with the product.

Great Product!

Like many pet owners, I find it hard to brush my dogs teeth. I have two dogs, both about 4y old, and I know dental health is extremely important for overall wellbeing and it was important for me to find a solution. My vet gave me a list of recommended dental products, and this powder was on it. It works wonders. It helped to reduce tartar, buildup and yellowing, and helps to freshen their breath as well. you only have to add a little bit to their food, and my picky golden retriever, doesn’t mind the flavor. I use this powder in combination with water additive and dental chews and my dogs teeth are looking great!

I know so many pet parents and vets who rave about this stuff and I have seen it work myself as a vet tech of 10 years. I got it for my senior girl and it altered her saliva pH far too much. She got dry mouth SO bad and was constantly lip licking, even sometimes hypersalivating. All this stopped the day after I stopped adding this to her food - it is supposed to be given three times a day for her weight but even at once a day she was still lip licking

Although my adopted shelter dog was only 3-4yrs old, her teeth already had tartar that I assumed would need a veterinary dental cleaning. Then my vet suggested this product to try first. The daily amount is based pet weight and is small in volume compared to your pet's daily intake of food. Great news - I did see a difference. Make sure you clear the use of this product with your pet's veterinarian before you purchase and use this product.

My dogs had good teeth and gums as a baseline, so I haven't noticed a big change and their breath seems fine too. The vet did say recently that my one dog has "beautiful teeth." I got this product to maintain their good oral hygiene and I guess it's working! But I think it's also doing good things for my one dog's gut too. She used to throw up fairly often--a few times a week. We started using this product in August and I realized yesterday that she hasn't thrown up since October. One jar lasts several months for two big dogs, so though it seems expensive, it's really not that pricey. I sprinkle it on their dry food and they eat it so it must taste OK! Overall, I think there are noticeable benefits so we'll continue to use it.

Wish I’d taken a before picture! Bernie experienced a reaction to anesthesia the last time she had her teeth cleaned a couple years ago. When her vet mentioned an increase in plaque at her appointment early this year despite regular brushing, we added Proden plaque off powder to her routine. Her teeth look so much better after just a couple months and her vet mentioned how great they look at her most recent check up. Totally worth the price to keep her healthy for years to come!

Seems to be helping!

Our kitties have bad breath, and some tooth issues. We got this hoping to help some. We've only been using it for a bit over a week, so I dont know how it works
